I got this heater for my coop and it’s been awesome so far. Super easy to set up and I love that it adjusts the temperature automatically — no worrying about the hens getting too cold or too hot. It gives off a nice, gentle warmth instead of blasting heat, so it feels really safe. Works great with my timer, too. My girls seem happy and are still laying even in the cold. Definitely worth it if you want a reliable coop heater!

I have a small coop with 4 chickens and this heater is perfect! While they wont "need" it, I have peace of mind knowing they will be comfortable and happy! Also having the added assurance that it is soooo much safer than a heat lamp (which have been known to catch coops on fire!) Overall, very easy to use and setup and is a great value! Would absolutely recommend!

This coop heater gets hot fast. Pros: - cord comes wrapped in accordion tube. Protects the wire from damage. -has a remote -has clear, light up temperature display -temperature adjustment buttons -color changing sticker goes from black to red when panel is hot and back to black as it cools -has legs, wire anchors included The cons: -very light -feels insignificant This panel heats up fast, it sounds like there’s some kind of fan mechanism inside. It’s quiet, but the fan is worrisome. I have other panels that just heat up with radiant type heat- I’ve never seen a fan version before. Gets really hot, really fast- which is good. But it’s also VERY light, and seems like it could be knocked over relatively easily. Good thing it has anchors. The remote is a nice addition, works well.

I was impressed by the thoughtful design of this chicken coop heater. The improved radiant surface spreads warmth evenly, and the overheating protection gives me confidence that my animals are safe even if I’m not around. It’s made of durable, flame-retardant materials and feels very sturdy. The long 9.8-foot cord gives flexibility in placement, and I like that it can be hung, mounted, or just stood up. My chickens seem happier and more relaxed, and egg production didn’t drop this winter at all. Definitely a 5-star product! Highly recommend for anyone who wants to keep their flock safe and warm.

This little beauty is amazing. Assembly is SUPER easy - comes with everything you need for a variety of installations (standing, wall-mount and hanging). Remote control makes things even easier. Heat throw is about 6" so it's not like a radiant heater that super-heats but it's effective in enclosed coops. Timer options for 3, 6, 9 and 12-hour runnings. There's a heat-sensitive triangle on the front that shows red when the heater is on. Also, has a great power cord - about 7' long and covered with a protective sleeve. This does have to be placed where it won't be exposed to water/rain.
