Way smaller than shown on the picture. The chickens in the pictures are half the size of real chickens. Only 2 chickens can fit on the top and they don’t have any room to move. The bars are too thin for their claws to comfortably sit. Would return but already put it together…

This was super easy to put together, you will need your own tools for this, but its a screw driver and a 2 different sized sockets for this as it doesn’t come with tools, but it does come with all the parts to assemble and they are all really clearly marked with letters and numbers, even each in its own plastic bag. While the assembly ways easy, there were a few hiccups I had in putting it together, when assembling the ladder portion I found it easier to get one side together, then attach the other side, then once you are attaching it to the main frame you need to wait to tighten everything down or your holes won’t line up well, first hand experience. 😂 There was some pain build up in some of the set screw holes but it came out easily enough with the screw and I didn’t have to take any extra steps there. The swing poles were both bent upon receipt and the metal is such that if you bend it too much you will snap it, so the swing hangs a bit off, but the birds don’t seem to mind. I believe its going to be pretty easy to clean with a pressure washer as it is mostly metal, the steps and swing are a wood but it is coated so hopefully water won’t ruin them, we will see. ... show more

    • Multilevel chicken perch that my chickens love!
This is not a chicken coop, it is a chicken perch and play structure. The ad also says it is made out of metal and wood and it is not. The frame is metal, but all the perches and swings are synthetic material that look like deck boards that are made out of recycled plastic. In my opinion this is much better because they won't rot, warp, or mildew. They are also easier to clean when you get to the point where you have to wash and maybe scrub chicken poop off the structure. I recommend this structure. ... show more
