I have a room fan but I need the cool air coming from the ceiling vent to be pushed down to my bed rather than the angle the vent is in.     • Just needs a little 2” drop from flat ceilings.

Good little fan but didn’t seem to move much air. I noticed that it really put out a good amount when it started but after several minutes it just seemed to stop even though it was still running at the same speed. Finally figured out that if it was mounted directly to a flat ceiling surface there was some sort of vacuum created between the ceiling and the fan shroud. I cut a piece of 2”x6” which I mounted to the ceiling and ran the wires through. This 2” drop gave the fan enough room to move the air between the ceiling and fan shroud and now it’s like sleeping under a wind tunnel. Pretty easy fix. They should offer a spacer to adapt to flat ceilings. ... show more

Fast, easy installation. Seller provides all mounting hardware you would need. The fan is lightweight, hangs very close to the ceiling, which is great for an older home with low ceilings. The remote controls all functions: light and fan. The light is very bright and has dimming capabilities; the fan has 6 speeds and is very quiet, perfect for a bedroom. The light settings are great, but it does not have a good air output! The remote control is convenient. It’s an aesthetically appealing fan but I’d rather have an ugly one that can cool 100 square feet. I had high hopes.
