This is an amazing little grill. It's just my wife and myself, and we don't need a huge grill. We had been using the little Weber, but getting the charcoal ready was a bit of a pain, worth it, but not easy. The first thing I noticed about the Bistro Pro was the quality! This is not a high cost grill, but it's really well made. Welds are solid, legs are sturdy and the design is really innovative. I wasn't sure how the charcoal/electric was going to work, but its really easy. I put some coals on the grate, turned the electric burner on, got the charcoal going and then turned the power off and used just the charcoal. Very nice! ... show more

First of all, the performance of this grill on the electric setting is excellent; I haven't used the charcoal option yet. The grill is made of the very highest quality of material and finish. The assembly instructions are all pictures, and are correct. That being said, assembly is not a trivial task, so allow a couple of hours in a well-lit room. The shipping, via UPS 2nd Day Air resulted in the box being badly torn and one of the tubes bent, which I was fortunately able to straighten. ... show more

Love this grill already! I love the 3 different ways to use it! And I love that I’m able to have charcoal mode in an apartment safe way! It gets very hot quickly, which I love. And the griddle was very easy to clean. The only complaint I have is some of the screws on the last step of instructions didn’t fit the holes. It still very sturdy, other than that. This grill is perfect for 2 to 4 people. It's so easy to use. Just plug it in and set the temperature. It gets hot enough to sear the meat. As others have said the assembly time consuming but that's the only negative We are looking forward to trying the charcoal method next.

I love that it can be switched from electric to charcoal. When using the charcoal, no lighter fluid is required which is a big plus. It's definitely a quality product. I saw many reviews that mentioned the amount of time it took to put it together and missing pieces to complete it. My husband put it together with very few problems. He did it alone and it did take quite a while. Nothing was missing or damaged. He wasn't happy with the way 2 screws fit, so he bought 2 longer screws at the hardware store. No big deal. FANTASTIC!!! Love it!! Easy to assemble. Missing a few screws but we took care of it ourselves. Tested both the outlet and the breaker for overheating and no issues whatsoever. Using at our beach house that we also short term rent. Have one at our lake house and it’s been used every weekend for about 9 months. Still going strong. I have been grilling for over 50 years. This grill sucks. I takes forever to preheat. The charcoal function is ridiculous. There is no airflow control to slow the charcoal heat. Used it twice and in the dumpster it went.
