Overall a good value for the money, but it has big flaws....once you start cooking, and place steak, or burgers or whatever you cooking, on the grill, the temperature drops considerably and the recovery time is way to long. I'm a chef, and I know how important it is to have high temperature when you grill, especially steak ! Here is the $ 37 solution to the problem. Buy a 14" round grill grate a bag of lava rocks and a box of ceramic briquettes, place the grate under the heat element, and place the lava rocks on the grate and around the heat element, the heat element itself tends to drop in the back side, so place a couple of rocks under it to lift it at same level of the front. place the ceramic bricks around the inside border of the grill to create a heat barrier with the outside. now you have the perfect electric grill, it will keep the temperature and the heat is equal all over the grill.
