Easy install. Love that they included everything you would need for a standard install ... multi-purpose screwdriver, several sizes of screws and even a little extra pieces just in case. The refurbished item looked brand new even though it came in a generic looking brown box. Works as expected. My only request is to have the flood light come on when motion is detected. Not necessary where I have mine installed but it would be a nice feature instead of having to manually turn it on/off via the Ring app. Maybe it's there but I haven't seen it yet and will do a little research. Giving it 5 star for now.

I like the camera ...it shows pretty good detail. Bad points are that I keep getting notifications that there's movement and as soon as I look at my phone, there's nothing there. Maybe its picking up a bird flying by or a bug? There are no tree branches setting it off. Wish you didn't have to pay a monthly fee to keep videos.

Very clear picture day or night very bright lights alarm scared the hell out of me that is super loud it will definitely scare someone away and very easy to install if you are going to install it High up just make sure you scan the barcode in the back before you come off the ladder lol if you scan the barcode that comes with the instructions, it might come up that it belongs to someone else so you have to scan the back of the ring itself

I was hesitant to purchase refurbished Ring security cameras but I'm glad I did. This is the second refurbished camera I've purchased through Amazon, and both have worked exactly the way they're supposed to. This one came in like-new condition with no scratches, dirt, etc. There's really no way I would have known it was a used device except the packaging was a little more nondescript (i.e. plain cardboard) than what Ring usually provides. I had no issues with the installation. The easiest way to install a wired Ring camera is to just replace a previously installed outdoor light fixture and reconnect the wiring. The package comes with every possible installation hardware scenario you might run into. I think it may have taken me more time to gather my tools and ladder than it did to actually install the device. Highly recommend refurbished cameras from Ring - you save about $50 or so for the same quality of device.
