Honestly for it being under $60 I am very impressed. This camera has been excellent for me and the set up process was SO simple. I’m a 21 year old woman with not the best survival skills lol and living on my own for the first time so i knew I needed some sort of camera for my door and I am so thankful I chose Ring because it’s given incredible reassurance on my own, and my unit’s, safety all the time. The recording quality is great, the audio is great, set up was SO simple and easy and honestly the thing that took the longest was just making sure it was fully charged before putting it up. I will lyk though that whenever (at least on my phone) whenever I fill screen live mode it kind of fish lenses the view (like slightly 0.5 view) but I like it because that just increases the field of vision horizontally but it does get rid of a maybe a foot vertically in full screen live view mode. The neighborhood app feature on it is very useful especially for storm updates very local to ur neighborhood and lost pet updates. Regular day vision is fantastic and is just a clear with the night vision feature when it is dark out, with and without porch light on. So far, the battery life has been great and let me tell you lol, I literally dropped the camera, CAMERA SIDE DOWN, on my dining room floor when I first got it, and was so scared I must’ve broken something😭 but nope! The camera is crazily sturdy lol. 😂 Will splurge with ring again when I need another camera

Super impressed by the picture quality, ease of set up, and the battery life so far! The options to have Alexa answer the doorbell is awesome too. I used a piece of wood to level mine as it was a little too wide to fit next to door. All of the hardware it came with is good/reliable quality.

Battery Life seems to be every good, so far. Purchased this item more as a deterrent. It provides a nice doorbell and has a great image. Just not interested in a monthly plan to own. We'll know more after the 30 day FREE trial. My opinion so far is that it does well for me at my condo.

The pixels at first were a bit wonky but I guess it adjusted itself. I don’t like that you cannot chose what to see. Like I don’t need to be told what color car/truck is passing by my house. It does not give you option to just chose, people, pets, etc. you can only choose 1 option. And the package option is only in smart alerts and I have that set as well but it doesn’t alert me so I’m confused on that. It needs to be a bit more friendly when trying to set your requirements but it isn’t. I feel it is not user friendly for setting as it has too many unnecessary things in it. The settings should not be determined by events. A person is not an event an animal isn’t an event etc I’m sure yall get it. The 13 icons to modify things is unnecessary. I am not saying I don’t like the camera as I do I just don’t like all the extra unnecessary things!

I don't have experience with ring cameras because this is my first one. That said, I can't really tell you about the older models but this camera suits my needs. Close proximity visuals are great. The further you zoom in, the worse it gets but its not 4k so that's expected. The video descriptions are pretty cool and detailed. The mounting was easy, but the plate seems flimsy so I'd be careful. Connectivity and setup was a breeze. I'll update on battery life later after some usage. For the price, its pretty solid and does what its supposed to.
