1. Use the provided micro-USB cable to charge your doorbell. If you use other micro-USB cable, please make sure it is with good quality and in good condition. 2. Please note that you should use a good quality power source of 5V/1A or 5V/2A. 3. Please recharge the doorbell camera for about 8 hours before your first use. 1. How many users can view the device at the same time? A: The owner account can share the device with up to 8 other accounts. Up to 3 users may view the video feed at once, but only 1 user can use the intercom. You can tap on "Share" to share the devices to your families. 2. Can this camera be used with a sd card without paying for any subscription for cloud? A: This camera does not support recording to an SD card. The videos will only be stored if you have a Cloud subscription service. 3. Can the doorbell camera connect to 5GHz Wi-Fi networks? A: No, this doorbell camera only connects to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Please ensure when you have both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi network, each with a distinct name for a successful connection. (1) The doorbell camera only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Please connect it to a 2.4GHz network. If your network has both 5G or 2.4G please connect it to the 2.4G one. (2) Double-check that you are entering the correct Wi-Fi name and password. I recently moved into an apartment where I can’t run wires or drill holes, so I was looking for a rechargeable wireless doorbell camera. This one is amazing value. It gives high resolution video and includes an IR illuminator and sensitive camera so it works perfectly in everything from bright sunshine to complete darkness. Judging from the rate of discharge the battery lasts about 4-5 weeks. It’s super easy to install with the included double stick tape. Motion detection and body bounding box functions work well and you can also restrict the field of motion sensitivity to reduce false notifications. Build quality is excellent. The app has a few language translation oddities but it’s perfectly functional and easy to use. Only minor grumble is that if you haven’t subscribed to the tippy-top service plan, you’ll see ads for it all the time, but this is minor. It’s very useful even with no paid subscription but paying does add some important features like live view. Audio is loud and clear both ways. It even includes a satellite doorbell module that plugs into any outlet and lets you know when someone’s at the door even when you’re not by your phone. This camera has truly impressed me! I wasn’t really expecting it to be this great because it was so cheap and I’ve had bad experiences in the past with other products. But I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT! it’s affordable, great quality, and easy to use and install! I’ve had it for about two and a half weeks now and still has a 85% battery life! App is user friendly and you can share with family members if wanted. There is a subscription for $30 A YEAR. Great price compared to other cameras I’ve used. Minimum ads if any at all. UPDATE: My original 5 star review is below. After having this camera for several weeks now I've lowered my review bc it freezes too much. I'm not using it as a doorbell camera but I don't like it for watching wildlife in my backyard. I have moved it three times and it's as close to my wifi tower as possible while still being outside but that doesn't help. I won't buy another one. IMPORTANT : I almost didn't get this due to the 2.4 wifi only compatibility. I knew I had 5g w Optimum wireless Internet but usually if you have a tower router you have both and this will pick it up without you having to separate the wifi frequencies. I didn't know that for sure, but I have a petcam that works on 2.4 so I took a chance on this and glad I did! I didn't buy it for a doorbell, I bought it for a backyard camera to monitor wildlife since it's weather proof. I feed stray cats but don't want possums or raccoons vacuuming up all the food at night! So I plan on mounting it onto my fence for full view of yard so I know what is going on out there! Best advice is to save frustration and download the AIWIT Camera app for phone (mines Android) AFTER you follow the instructions included to set up and register the camera. The suggested Camtro App I got first kept asking that I subscribe and it would not go into viewing mode without it. I only want live viewing vs cloud storage so I finally found the user manual and got AIWIT and now the camera works for viewing only!! If you want a subscription it has a couple of selections for around $30 a month. Overall it took a little time to figure everything out bc I didn't want a subscription but otherwise this seems like it's going to be a great low cost alternative to the name brands. It has many settings for motion detection sensitivity, parameters and sound volume. So far, so good! I’ve had this camera for about two weeks now, and I’m really impressed with it. I get notifications anytime someone comes near my door, and the detection range is great. The night vision is also really good, and the image quality is clear both day and night. The subscription isn’t too expensive either—$28.99 for 6 months, which I think is a great deal. It’s nice, but you have to download the app. The app basically begs you to subscribe and pay for more features. The plug in speaker can’t be too far away from door bell. A little nerve racking to pair, the manual is that helpful. Prepare to YouTube instructions.

Overall this has been a great device, affordable and reliable. I purchased this for my apartment door since we do not have internal doorbells and wanted to be able to know when someone was at my door. The hallway outside has motion sensor lights and when they're off the camera can still see the hallway with no issues. I charged the device when I first received it and the battery has only needed to be recharged once in 2 months, which I don't think is too bad. It was easy to set up and install, connected quickly to my home internet service. I did pay $30 for the annual subscription to be able to store videos, which is a small price to pay for the affordability of the device to begin with. It came with double stick tape or screws to adhere it to the wall or door, but I chose to use 3M Command velcro strips so I can take it on and off to charge and it won't leave any damage when I move. I would say the only downfall is that there have been times the recording didn't take place when I was anticipating to find a video. Requiring a subscription instead of being able to use an SD card, which isn't the worst or expensive thing honestly. The only other thing is the internal doorbell chime sound cannot be changed and the volume cannot be increased or reduced, and the chime is quite loud. For these things, I think 4/5 is fair, I would order this again for sure. ... show more
