IMPORTANT : I almost didn't get this due to the 2.4 wifi only compatibility. I knew I had 5g w Optimum wireless Internet but usually if you have a tower router you have both and this will pick it up without you having to separate the wifi frequencies. I didn't know that for sure, but I have a petcam that works on 2.4 so I took a chance on this and glad I did! I didn't buy it for a doorbell, I bought it for a backyard camera to monitor wildlife since it's weather proof. I feed stray cats but don't want possums or raccoons vacuuming up all the food at night! So I plan on mounting it onto my fence for full view of yard so I know what is going on out there! Best advice is to save frustration and download the AIWIT Camera app for phone (mines Android) AFTER you follow the instructions included to set up and register the camera. The suggested Camtro App I got first kept asking that I subscribe and it would not go into viewing mode without it. I only want live viewing vs cloud storage so I finally found the user manual and got AIWIT and now the camera works for viewing only!! If you want a subscription it has a couple of selections for around $30 a month. Overall it took a little time to figure everything out bc I didn't want a subscription but otherwise this seems like it's going to be a great low cost alternative to the name brands. It has many settings for motion detection sensitivity, parameters and sound volume. Comes with charger cord and outlet chime that plugs into the wall, and the doorbell and two way speaker works great if needed.

You get what you pay for. With that said, for $10 the camera is great! Don't buy it without getting a subscription. It's pretty worthless without one. $30 for a year is not bad. It saves up to 7 days worth of motion detection. It is a little buggy, e.g. the motion detection turns off by itself on occasion. If you're not getting alerts, it's time to check that setting! All in all, for $10 and $30/year, I am not complaining...yet

Great quality. Was easy to set up. App is user friendly. You can adjust the coverage zone. Battery life is good and you can also zoom In and out. Great purchase for the price! Get one!

I love this wireless doorbell. It’s cheap, easy to set up like an expensive doorbell. Clear night and the vision motion detection is great two-way audio can be a little delayed, but it’s clear and works just fine

Originally my ex who needed a video doorbell picked one of these out. And there are literally 20 different ones that all look identical and range in price from 9.99 to 59.99. The one she picked out was 27.99, smart. Don’t go too but don’t go bottom. It did not have a buzzer. Odd cuz the one for 9.99 had a remote buzzer, plus I’ll go for the bottom, I spent 9.99 got a buzzer. Technical she is not, but she called be the same day and said you’ll be so proud I got it installed and working. I was impressed by that and by the quality of the video and the quality of the people detection and the wide angle lens. It’s no RING but I was unable to find anything the ring does that this won’t, oh yea there is one thing my ring does very well that this won’t, notify me 15 times an hour that a cat just walked by. This one just tells you when a person walks up your drive way, so it won’t alert you 12 times a minute when cars drive by, and you cannot keep tabs on the ferrel cat population, or those notifications get a ring, for people detection get this. It charges via usb and you can charge it in place if you want to. I have not had it long enough to know battery life but, it was up 2 days and went from 100 to 97 percent, at that rate it would seem you get more than a month

This doorbell is easy to install and easy to use. To watch live video, you need to have a subscription. The speaker sounds a little low, and the battery does not last that long, but for the price, it is more than worth it. The quality is good and you get what you paid for

what can i say. took me three days to finally get it to work. first the model i got is the m52 which has no charge indicator. so just left it to charge over nite. downloaded the app and started the set up. first hitch. would not recognize my wifi? after the 2nd attempt at install/uninstalling the app i gave up and tried it on a different phone. that worked. so i deleted the app from the other phone and tried it on my phone again. yay it worked! after a couple of tries i even got the indoor ringer to work. i think its one of the things where it either works right off the bat or you get unlucky and have to grind through the set up. but it does work. i also opt out of the subscription. dont need it just want a doorbell that shows who's at the door.
