I’ve been using the Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Plus with motion-activated now, and I’m genuinely impressed. Setup was a breeze—took less than 15 minutes, and the app walked me through every step. Whether you’re tech-savvy or not, it’s refreshingly simple. Video quality is sharp, with 1080p HD resolution and clear night vision. I especially appreciate the two-way talk feature—it’s great for chatting with delivery drivers or checking in on the house when I’m away. Motion alerts are accurate and customizable, so I’m not bombarded with notifications every time a squirrel passes by. One standout feature is the integration with Alexa. I can pull up a live feed on my Echo Show or get motion alerts announced aloud. It’s a seamless part of my smart home setup. If I had to nitpick, I’d say the subscription plan for cloud storage could be more generous, but it’s still reasonably priced for the peace of mind it offers. Bought 2. Installation was straightforward, activation was easy, seems to be working well. Good wide view, excellent option to set detection zones so I don't get alerts when the neighbors are moving about. Lots of tones to identify alerts from multiple devices. "Neighbors" feature is rather useless, no posts in our area. Overall pleased with the purchase.
