I really like this Blink doorbell camera. It was really easy to pair with the module and was up and running right away. I didn't know at first you needed the module, but it only took a day to get here. Now I have ordered an outdoor camera for the back yard and it should be eazy peazy to pair with the module, also. Good investment. I feel much, much safer and since my phone is always by my side I always know what's going on. If the neighbor kids wanna ride their bikes and skateboards I simply hit the Disarm icon on the app. Now my app won't keep chiming for motion detected. Very cool, very easy for a novice. 5 stars so my review gets noticed. The camera quality is just okay. Microphones are pretty good. Camera always misses the actual movement that set it off and starts recording about 4 seconds later. Looks like people appear out of thin air on the camera. Camera will sense movement as people approach the door but only begins recording after they have left, or will appear as though they just materialized out of thin air on the top step. If somebody vandalizes your door or steals a package from you, you will not see it on the camera. It will only start recording after the event has happened that the person is gone, leaving you with dozens of videos of an empty stoop. THIS IS NOT A FREE SERVICE. IF YOU DON'T PAY A SUBSCRIPTION, YOUR CAMERA WILL STOP WORKING. All of their ads say that you can use basic features without a subscription plan- this is not true. Your camera will stop taking videos after 2 months. The subscription is $10/month. Might be a cute camera system to watch your dog on, or chat with your friendly neighbor when you aren't home. However, if you are purchasing this for security reasons: pay the extra dime for a better brand. It is not worth the subscription costs to capture dozens of videos of an empty porch AFTER somebody has swiped your packages and walked away.

We bought two to replace our older wireless video doorbells. Easy to setup, work great. When not watching real time, there is a delay. The delay is long enough that it doesn't catch my delivery drivers on camera as an example. No package, package there, no delivery driver dropping the package and they have to walk right in front of the camera. Back and front. Same issue.

I have cameras in my house so the doorbell camera is the best final piece of security. PROS:Picture is good, audio is loud, camera view is wide, easy to assemble and connect, plus you receive a free month subscription when you purchase. Now CONS: Runs off batteries. Any feature you want to add to the camera means you will be replacing the battery OFTEN. The camera automatically goes into “Event Response Mode”, which means the features you conveniently get in your free month subscription..DONT WORK! I called customer service because I was trying to watch the camera live(one of the features that’s supposed to be included in the subscription.) the customer service rep told me I would have to purchase the module 2 (Which is 49.99!!) to use that feature. So be prepared to have to pay 50 dollars to use the features on the camera. But if you only care to see if someone rings the doorbell or steps in its view then the basic features work just fine without the module. Also one more CON the notifications are delayed. You won’t get an alert til maybe a minute or two after motion is detected. Still not a deal breaker for me. I love it. Just gonna stock up on batteries!😮💨 ***UPDATE*** My packages have been getting stolen since last summer and I was sick of it. I bought this camera and installed it 04/07/2024, I received video of the person that’s been stealing my packages on 04/08/2024!!🤨 I now know who it is! CON: The camera catching a lot of nothing and also misses a lot. It has NEVER caught the Amazon driver delivering the packages, but it caught my package being stolen so I’m grateful. But just be mindful that it DOES NOT catch everything. UPS and Amazon dropped off packages to me and my next door neighbors but my camera didn’t pick it up.☹️

Works very well. Just make sure you have good batteries having it on motion sense cause they go dead pretty quick but other than that, I have no issues. Real great picture and easy to install

I got this doorbell to replace a camera on my back deck. I already replaced my other cameras with the wired blink floodlight cameras and since I pay for unlimited blink and it comes with a warranty for all my blink cameras as long as I am a subscriber it just made sense to replace my back camera also. I figured my front porch blink doorbell does a good job so why not go the cheap route. Unfortunately I didn't realize I needed to get another transformer to power it on my doorbell system until I tried hooking it up to my existing one so until I pick one up tomorrow it's stuck in some mode which gives me limited functions and it's terrible however I already ran all the wire and have everything ready so it will only take 10min to pop new transformer in. These definitely need to be hardwired otherwise they're worthless. That being said so far I'm happy. It covers the area I wanted and has good quality videos.

I had to buy another part to record and store clips. I don’t like Blinks customer support, as they barely speak English. Very frustrating to talk to them. I use only battery powered, and the clips are short to save power. My doorbell transformer is 63 yrs old and I haven’t been able to find it to replace it. Another dislike is the fact that the motion zones don’t work very well and I get a lot of wasted videos. I bought a used doorbell
