I got this for my bedroom since it looks pretty. I needed a fan that was low profile sine my ceilings are low and this worked out nicely. I loved the design of the fan with the crystal look of the fan and the clear blades and only 20” inches overall. I was very happy with the easy install with the vary detailed instructions. All the hardware came with it. I love that I can actually control this with the remote that came with it or with your phone. The fan has 6 speeds to choose from, it can be forward or reverse for the direction. It even has a timer so you can set it up to 24 hours. I like the memory setting, so it remembers your last setting. It is dimmable. So, if you are looking for a versatile fan, this will definitely would work for you. I'm a fanatic for this type of fan/light. There's about 5 of these in our house already. They all are just about the same so I just these by 3 categories. 1) install 2) light brightness 3) fan noise -The install was super easy. Although I think the bracket are too large. Because the bracket is too large the unit is not as sturdy as the others. - the brightness is on par with the others. Not the brightest of the bunch but bright enough. - the noise is better some of the others but I haven't found one that is almost silent on speed #1.. On speed #1 the fan still make some sounds that might bother some people during sleeping. Overall, it's a good fan. Still looking for the great one. ... show more

I needed a low profile ceiling fan that would work without having to put in a new wall switch to control it. This fan worked perfectly for my purposes. Since you control this fan by remote, it just means that you can keep the wall switch on all the time (or turn it off when you leave) The remote allows you to control all of the functions: Light Temperature Dimming Fan Speed Fan Direction It was an absolute breeze to install (I already had a fan rated outlet box at that location). It is simple and easy. Certainly there are more sophisticated fans out there and those that can be controlled by wall switch but I wanted something that was easy to install and inexpensive. This is one of 3 ceiling fan lights I bought and installed today (Sunday 6/30/24). The other 2, both from other manufacturers work perfectly fine as of now. This fan though stopped working after a few minutes. I was running it until it shorted out and the had a loud pop. The breaker tripped luckily. Turns out the circuit board is now damaged and I can't use it. It wouldn't be too big a deal except Amazon is not allowing me to even attempt to process an exchange. Im disappointed in the product and in Amazon. Hopefully I'll get a resolution and can provide an update ASAP. ... show more

This is a beautiful fan to install in a nursery or young child’s room. It was easy to install just like a light fixture. With the blades being inside the lights, it doesn’t produce off too much wind and is very silent. The lights are dimmable to adjust to time of day.
