This fan is a beaut! Modern clean look, this will be so much easier to clean than the old style (with the glass bell shaped covered lights.) The price was amazing, especially after looking in a large Home store, where the cheapest was at least twice the cost (plus more $$)! This also came with a remote control, and an app to run it from your cell phone. My husband installed it himself, hooked up the app, and was absolutely impressed with himself and this fan/light set. Looks great, runs great! We bought this black one for the living room, and 3 white ones for the bedrooms. The light can be changed to different types of lighting and even dimmed/brightened within each type of lighting (yellow, white, bright), and the fan has a lot of speeds to choose from. Very quiet operation, so it's no problem to sleep with it. Material used is all quality, both the fan and lighting is all superb, absolutely worth the price for these fans. This is a nice-looking fan with great functionality, the IOS app is easy to set up so don't worry about misplacing the remote as was stated in another review. It is easy to install and operate and has a three-year manufactures warranty. The only caution I have is if you intend to install the fan in a room with a vaulted ceiling because the controller that goes into the canopy is thick and just about fits. When installed on a slant ceiling the down rod that holds the fan tilts in the holder and becomes higher on one side, this reduces the space for the controller even more. I really love the fan itself — the airflow is strong and quiet, and the built-in light is a great feature! It’s sleek, modern, and works perfectly for my space. However, the app could definitely be better. It's not always responsive and sometimes has trouble connecting, which can be frustrating when trying to control it remotely. Would've given 5 stars. I bought 1 for each room and they've been great. 1 stopped working. I reached out to the company for warranty since it failed about 6 months in. No response. Would have been nice if it lived up to its advertising.
