i received this fan promptly hire a gentleman to install it the light part worked great but the fan part did not work. The gentleman installing it suggested it was my wiring that was bad so I contacted an electrician. THey came today and checked my wiring and there is no problem they tested the fan and said the motor was bad in the fan. T am very upset that the seller did not check the product before sending it. I am not returning the item as it would cost more to send back and have already spent 40 to install and 110 for the electrician to come just to let me know that it was a problem with the fan motor. I am very upset that the seller did not check the fans motor before selling the fan! I will never buy again from this seller and I recommend others beware that product is not tested before sent!

The seller is outstanding. We bought 2 fans and one of the fans had a broken piece to the light fixture. We sent a message and they responded promptly and the replacement part is on it's way and they sent a tracking number as well. We're so impressed. Really like the fans. I love the quietness of these DC motor fans as there is no hum whatsoever. This particular model came in the smallest box I have ever seen a fan come in. In part this was due to the way the blades are made as there is a metal extension that comes off of the motor to attach some inches down the blade extending them to their 52-inch length. The instructions are OK, but they do leave out a part that needs to be placed on the down shaft before connecting the down shaft to the motor. I typically find it easier on these fans to attach the blades after the motor is hung, since they do not include a wire to hang the assembly on while installing as most American models do. Similarly, I recommend plugging in the light panel before mounting it to the housing as it makes it much easier to plug in as the plug receptacle entrance is facing the center. The remote for this unit is a bit different than any I have seen before and will likely take some time to get comfortable with, but everything does work as advertised. I should note that my unit came with a defective light panel. I contacted the email address on the manual and within 24 hours received a response that a replacement was on its way. In total I received the replacement 5 days after I contacted them which I thought was extremely responsive. All in all, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I ordered this fan to replace an old one that stopped working. It arrived quickly and unusually well packed with every item protected against scuffs and scrapes. The manual is quite good with plenty of good photos and only a few errors (remove the plastic light dome by turning it to the LEFT). My old fan hung from the ceiling apex on a 2 foot rod. Although this fan weighs around half as much, thankfully it still uses the standard rod size and configuration. I had to extend each of the wires 18”, but I was able to reuse the ceiling mount and down rod. That saved a ton of aggravation. Note that the fan only comes with a 4” and an 8” long rod, with wires long enough to support those lengths. Assembling the fan was easy following the manual. Hanging it was easy as well. I personally find it easier to attach the blades after hanging the motor and connecting the wires. The screw terminal strip on the side of the mounting bracket is a particularly helpful option. It’s much easier and more reliable than using wire nuts. Once installed, I paired the remote (supplied without 2 AAA batteries) and tested the light, which worked fine. However, the fan failed to spin. When I turned the fan by hand, it made a scrapping noise. I emailed the customer service team and had a response the very next morning offering to send me a replacement remote. I then sent a video capturing the sound when I turned the fan by hand. The next morning I got an email suggesting I check to see if the fan blades were scrapping the motor cover or the light housing. Upon removing the light and the fan blades, I found that the motor cover was not quite centered over the motor, leaving one side low. That side was scrapping the fan blades. I bent the cover enough to center it, reinstalled the blades and light fixture, and all worked as expected. The Customer Service Team was particularly pleasant to work with in getting my fan to 100%. The remote control was easy to pair with the fan. I learned afterwards that there is also an app for the fan with, I expect, the same control features. The light provides plenty of light for a fairly large dark walled room, and can be dimmed quite low if desired. The light temperature can be adjusted down to 3000K for a warm look. The fan has 6 speeds, the first three of which are virtually silent. The higher speeds generate some air noise, but no motor noise. It moves a lot of air, either downward for summer or upward for winter. I particularly like the 6 blade configuration as it simplifies balancing the fan to minimize wobble. I weighed each blade in grams on a kitchen scale and mounted the 2 heaviest blades opposite each other. I did the same with the 2 lightest blades, and then mounted the last 2. This gave me a very good initial balance with very little wobble. Overall, I am very pleased with the ease of installation, quality of support, appearance, and performance of the fan. I recommend it, especially while the price is discounted.

One of the blades was slightly warped and the fan rocks and makes a noise with every spin. The defect was not significant enough to be seen until I had paid an electrician to install the fan; it was noticeable when he turned the fan on. It cost me more to have an electrician install the fan than the fan itself cost. It was a replacement fan, and the electrician installed it properly.

It works well BUT it does not fit in a regular ceiling fan mount. Lots of modifications. The ceiling medallion had to be trimmed. There wasn’t any installation instructions included.
