First off, I will be buying more of these fans for the rest of my bedrooms. This fan packs a load of great features at an insanely cheap price. The fan looks great and has a simplistic, modern, and clean look to it. I’ve been searching to replace all of my other fans with these new single LED style, since I hate replacing bulbs of various sizes. The build seems surprisingly durable, considering the blades are plastic. I actually think the plastic is a benefit in the long run, since they’re much lighter weight than wooden blades and this has a noticeable effect on the speed of the fan. I also think it will create less strain on the motor over time. Lastly, the blades are much smoother than wooden blades which I can only assume increases the performance even more, as well as being extremely quiet. The remote control is pretty straight forward. It has a lot of settings, which I like. You can choose basically any fan speed to your liking, as well as the color temperature of the light which as very cool and VERY bright. My favorite feature is probably the “natural breeze” button, which cycles the speed of the fan up and down to imitate a breeze outside. The wall mount is a nice touch, since remotes are easy to lose and it’s the only way to control the fan. Installation was very straight forward and the instructions were adequate. The fan comes with quite literally all of the hardware you may need for any mounting situation, but I was most surprised by the super nice screwdriver that was included! There were multiple reviews stating that the control box was difficult to fit into place, but I didn’t find this to be an issue at all. In fact there seemed to be more than enough space to tuck the wires around it and the entire installation (and removal of my old fan) took less than an hour.

This fan was fairly easy to install. The light comes with three different shades which is nice. The fan speeds are an above average speed. The "1" to me is similar to a normal fan while a "6" feels like a helicopter. The remote control sensor is kind of hard to wedge into the bracket to fit over because of wire angles with your white and black wires. Every time you turn on the lights it does a beep which is kind of annoying, but its not too bad after awhile. Setting the light color switch was also more difficult than it probably should have been because the instructions were not very clear.

We replaced an old ceiling fan with this one and we are very happy with this fan. It was very easy to install and it's packed with features. On our old fan, in order to reverse the spin direction, we had to climb on a ladder to manually move a switch. On this new fan, it's a simple press of a button on the remote to reverse the spin direction. This is very useful at night when we don't want the fan to blow directly on us. Reversing the wind direction into the ceiling helps circulate the air without too much down draft. Another feature that we love is the ability to control everything from the remote. We have the remote by our bedside and it's very easy to turn on or off the fan, the light, and adjust speed settings. For the amount of convenient features packed into this unit and for the price, this is hard to beat.
