  • Awesome for 1/5th the price
Style: CyberRack E2, Black/ 200lbs Capacity + Ramp
This is a great bike carrier for our heavy 26" fat tire Wired E-bikes. I was looking at another brand that was recommended at over $1500. This one does the same job at a fraction of the price. It is constructed very good, light enough for one person to carry around, and more than sturdy enough to carry our bikes. When they are strapped in there is very little movement even over rough roads. Assembly took less than an hour including unboxing. I read that people were having a problem with the plastic shims for the upright stabilizer bars. They are super easy to install. No need to bend any metal or beat things to pieces. They are supposed to slip in from the underside and there is a stamped notch that will guide them in. #1 Put the rack into your vehicle's reciver. #2 Place one shim in it's notch on one side of the upright. #3 hold the shim and upright in place by putting the bolt through the hole almost through but not far enough as to interfere with the shim on the opposite side. #4 insert the second into it's notch from the underside. Get it started by hand first and then gently tap it in with a small hammer unti the hole lines up. #5 Push the bolt all the way through the hole and tighten the nut. That's it! Super simple. We've taken our bikes on one trip using this and had no issues whatsoever. It's an awesome carrier. ... show more

  • Strong and versatile ebike rack
Style: CyberRack E2, Black/ 200lbs Capacity + Ramp
I have owned several bike racks in my lifetime so I know what to watch for. If you are going to invest $2,000 + on ebikes you want to be sure what you buy holds up and is manageable. Having a bike fall off while on a freeway is not a good thing. This rack is sturdy and easy to load and use. There are independent vertical supports, one for each bike. Other racks with only one are hard to configure for 2 bikes. Reading reviews I see complaints about assembly. The book you get with it is not very good but the video you can see while you are buying it is excellent. It's all you need. There are some plastic spacers involved in assembly that people have struggled with. It is very easy to place the rack upside down on the ground and slide them into place. People comment that it is heavy. It is heavy, 65 pounds. But it holds 200 pounds worth of expensive bikes. It needs to be heavy. Anyway - this is a great buy for the price. ... show more

  • Good Product with Some Glitches
Style: CyberRack E2, Blue Gray / 200lbs Capacit...
I'm in agreement with quite a few other folks who purchased this rack and reviewed it. The rack is well made, but this thing is not the easiest to assemble - and I don't feel like I'm an idiot. I just put this thing together today and it took me WAY longer than it should have. But, it's finally together (mostly) and these are the things I don't care for: first, throw away the bolt they give you to secure the rack to your 2" receiver and go buy a lockable pin. This will make it much easier to remove the rack for storage. Second, if anyone has better suggestions how in the Hell to install both shims to the upright bars, I'm listening. I currently have one shim installed. If I want to install the 2nd shim, I would have to use a pry bar to bend the metal to install, but then that defeats the purpose of a more secure fit. I'm going to sleep on it tonight and think how I can secure those upright poles better so there's not so much "wobble" front to back. Perhaps when I have both bikes on the rack, I could bungee everything tight. The way the bike rack holds the bike on it's own is not secure enough for me. Although the construction is sturdy, the bike tilts front to back way too much, because of that center pole. When you have over $4,000.00 installed on this bike rack, I'd like to feel more comfortable that the bikes will make it from point A to point B in one piece. I really like the ramp - it made it much easier to get the bikes onto the rack. I agree with others that the clip holding the ramp to the rack is not the easiest to hook/unhook. There's a good chance I will just transport the ramp in the back of my truck. I've got an email out to the company asking what the trick is to installing both shims without bending the metal. Who knows, maybe they'll have the "magic" answer. I'll update this review if I can figure out a better way to secure those stand up poles better. ... show more

  • No more worries. No more stress.
Style: CyberRack E2, Blue Gray / 200lbs Capacit...
We couldn't be happier! Our two e-bikes are each 75 lbs. We traveled over 1500 miles one way this winter using a different bike rack. It was so bad (bikes loosened up and parts rattled loose) that we decided we needed a better rack for our trip back home. We ordered this one. Everything stayed secure. Nothing was loose. It was such a huge relief! It takes very little time and effort to load and unload our bikes. We did not add any additional strapping of our own. The bike rack is a bit heavy, but it is sturdy. My 68 year old husband manages without my help. Our bike rack was mounted on the back of our fifth wheel while traveling. We highly recommend this bike rack. ... show more

  • Well built!
Style: CyberRack E2, Black/ 200lbs Capacity + Ramp
This rack is very well built and holds my heavy e-bikes securely. Pros: strong sturdy construction, loading ramp, upright bars to secure to, pin lock for the stinger. Cons: straps may eventually wear out, but I suppose all do, ramps rattles when attached for towing but Velcro straps fix that. Overall I am pleased with the purchase. I saw many complaints about the plastic tabs not fitting for the upright bars. Read all the reviews like I did and you will see the simple solution is to make sure you insert them from the bottom. I did this and it went together pretty easy. Good sturdy back rack. When you have $3500.00 of bike on the back of your vehicle, you want to make sure it’s strong enough to hold your investment. ... show more
