It Makes no noise and with the help of a commenter on the YouTube short, was able to connect it to my cellphone for a remote. It comes with a remote, but I never can find one when I need it! This fan is amazing!!!! Extremely lightweight. It has lots of brightness options which is absolutely wonderful. It is so powerful even on the lowest setting. It moves air in my whole entire bedroom even on the lowest setting. My bedroom is medium sized. The remote works wonderfully and It even has an app. Very user friendly. I live in a mobile home so my ceilings are pretty low and getting creative with space is a must. I picked this fan mainly for the price, I couldn't believe how affordable it is, that along with all of the reviews helped me make the decision to buy it. It doesn't hang down much farther than the light I had on the ceiling in my bedroom so that's a plus. It was pretty easy to install but I have an advantage because I know how to install light fixtures. I glanced at the instructions and they looked pretty easy for someone who has never installed something like this before. The remote works well and I love that it came with a holder that will screw on the wall and you can put the remote in it, nice extra! It also has an app that you can download on your phone. I may have installed a fan before, but usually I'm not very technologically inclined. It took me a few minutes but I managed to figure out the app and I really like it too. I would have given this fan five stars except for the fact that my yellow LED lights don't work on it. It has three settings which are W (white), Y(yellow/amber), & N (natural). The W and N work fine. When I turn it to Y the light comes on and then fades out. That does not bother me enough to send it back since it's already up and the only time I use an overhead light in my bedroom is when I need a bright light. The fan is fantastic! It has six different speeds and a reverse mode. It puts out a LOT of air, which is what I wanted from a ceiling fan that I was going to put in here. I was sleeping with an oscillating floor fan but it just takes up too much floor space so I wanted a ceiling fan that would really move the air. The reviews I read here about that were spot on, it puts out a great breeze! It is also very quiet. I do not hear any motor noise and noticed that I have the volume on the TV quite a bit lower than I did with the oscillating fan. I can hear the air moving through the blades when everything is turned off at night but I like that. All in all I'm very satisfied with this purchase and would definitely get another one of these ceiling fans if I ever need another one. ... show more

Compared to putting up a normal sealing fan, you could do this with your eyes closed. It weighs virtually nothing so it's super easy to handle Installed perfectly. Works as it should on all settings. Amazingly quiet. We're buying two more ✌🏾

    • Don’t lose the remote! And hope you have zero problems with the fan!
The fan functioned well enough. Quiet and effective. However, don’t count on any customer support. I had some people over the house doing work and they turned the fan on and apparently took the remote with them when they left. I had no luck retrieving it. The product page on Amazon says they have 24/7 customer service. Notice how there is no phone number or even an email address to contact them! I couldn’t find any way of contacting them after a thorough search on the Internet. I contacted Amazon customer service who said they would send me an email With the manufacturers email. That never happened. I have no idea where these fans are made but if you ever have an issue, you will get absolutely no help. I wasted a lot of time trying to. I ended up just buying a completely different fan from another manufacturer because this fan will not operate without it. What a joke. ... show more
