Works better than expected. My intent was to only use it on the freezer door. We have a second refrigerator outside of the kitchen that does not have a door alarm. When the refrigerator door closes sometimes it would break the seal on the freezer door. It was honestly driving me insane. The lock was easy to install, and it worked so well I put the second one the refrigerator door. The lock uses 3M double sided adhesive pads, and it feels rock sold. My kit had and extra set of 3M pads I stashed away if ever needed for another project. My refrigerator looks identical to the one in the product description. But looking at how the lock is designed; I imagine it would work just as well on different door configurations. What use to drive me insane has been replaced with beautiful soft click sound of the lock engaging when the door is closed.

I got these to prevent my cats from opening my freezer when they jump onto the top of the fridge (as much as I try to keep them off) and they're working like a charm! They're easy to open from the human perspective, and also from an anxiety standpoint, I love hearing the little click when the fridge and freezer lock into place. They are holding very strong and were easy to apply.

This works great the keep our freezer shut. We have had problems with it not sticking well enough to the door. Our fridge is a smooth stainless, not textured. We had to add new adhesive.
