And it works! Apartment living is great, but the appliances are not always impressive and in our case, the fridge/freezer doors do not stay shut. The fuller the unit gets, the more it pops. As my wife grew increasingly frustrated I came up with the idea of child-safety locks. Why not at least try? This 2-Pack Child Proof Fridge Lock with Adhesive is perfect for us and the idea panned out. Putting the locks on was easy, especially considering how close the unit sits to the wall. I hadn't used it yet when she was gone one day and I needed to get in... having never had such things before, it took a mere 2 1/2 tries to get it - not being able to see I kept loosing one button when I had the other. Push, it pops open and away and you can get in. Closing is the reverse, also easy, and once done, don't need to "look" again. The adhesive sticks great and we have little worry about it not being strong enough. *** While we got this 2-Pack Child Proof Fridge Lock with Adhesive for two middle aged adults keeping doors closed, and while we do not have kids, we both agree this 2-Pack Child Proof Fridge Lock with Adhesive would work great with keeping kids out. That said, it's distance between the buttons, motor skills to push two, distanced buttons, and height that are the obstacles. Again, we both feel like a well placed Child Proof Fridge Lock would keep little hands unsuccessful in opening doors. Overall it's a great idea - for a range of reasons people have to use one - and the 2-Pack Child Proof Fridge Lock with Adhesive is a great find for anyone wishing such protection. It's made of good materials, strong and well constructed, easy to install, easy to use, and does the job. We're pleased and would get more. PHOTOS: ** Easy to place, adhere, and overall, set up for use. Ours goes on the fridge and freezer - to keep them closed ** It's substantial in size - bigger than I'd thought - solid, well built with strong materials ** Once the buttons are pushed, the "lock flap" comes out - it too is large and strong, meaning it should last ** Two buttons to squeeze - only took me a couple of tries to find them in a blind spot and coordinate the movements, but it was easy - the same in reverse

The media could not be loaded. Always a good purchase. It works very well. This is my second time purchasing. Have on all my fridges. Safety first. Disregard the 3m sticker on this one had to transfer it to another fridge. New one just came in. The stickers are very strong.

It was easy to install and it keeps my fridge closed but if you don't use your fridge for a week or more, it will get stuck and become hard to open with one hand.

Love this! We installed on our top freezer door which would sometimes pop open when we opened our fridge door. Easy to install and operate with one hand. We installed on a fridge located in our laundry room so we were okay with the look.

we have a 30 year old fridge and it doesn't seal well, even after replacing the weather stripping. this allows the door to always be shut, great devnce.

Purchased for a secondary fridge/freezer whose doors refuse to consistently seal shut. Certainly resolves that issue but I have trouble opening the one on the freezer door. You have to hold down two buttons to unlock and the top button is always jammed. The one on the fridge works fine. If it was on my kitchen unit I’d have to remove it for sure.
