The most COST-EFFECTIVE and irreplaceable litter box! A lot of my friends have started using automatic litter boxes, so I became curious about them too. But with so many options on the market, I had a hard time deciding—until I found CATLINK. I had heard about CATLINK’s story of saving a cat’s life before, which left a deep impression on me. It made me trust their products and believe they truly care about cats. After comparing a few CATLINK models, I decided to start with the SE litter box since it’s simple to use and beginner-friendly. The “pinch-free ” design really caught my attention, as cat parents, none of us ever want to put our cats’ safety at risk. I researched how it works, and no matter how it rotates, there’s always a safe exit. Its other features are more than enough for a starter like me. What a great design!! I quickly learned how to use it, and now I can even control the cleaning process directly from the app. I get daily reports on my cat’s bathroom activity, which is so helpful!     • I want to love it, but it's tech is lacking
updating my previous review. The connectivity isn't great. I decided to keep the box, as it still cleans even if it's not connected to wifi. It does what i need it to do. The top of the interior does get gross, and you'll definitely want to wipe it down regularly. It comes clean pretty easily, but if you don't clean it, your cat's head is probably brushing against it every time they use the box. Customer support has reached out endlessly regarding the connectivity issues i complained about earlier. I haven't bothered to respond, as the box is doing what i need it to do at the moment. I don't think any of these boxes will ever be perfect, but compared to the much more expensive other brand, I'd say it's performing just fine. The step catches the litter ok, the odor is greatly reduced over a traditional box and the bag lasts about a week with 3 cats. It's easy to fill with litter and bag changes are very easy. Due to connectivity not being consistent, sometimes it takes a bit to recognize the new bag. Overall i'm pleased with the purchase and have found ways to adapt to it's limitations. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This litter robot aka Scooper SE by Cat-link. This automatic litter box is relatively small compared to others and hasn't leaked or malfunctioned yet which is a good first start. It is quiet, slow, and does turn off if the cat goes near the entrance. I have had it for a week now. I have two cats, a medium and a small cat that poop a normal amount once or twice a day. The trash bin fills up every week or so which is better than I expected. The parts are easy to assemble just remember how they go and read the instructions step by step. If you really want to push the bag you can set the full settings sensitivity to high. It goes from 1-4, I keep it on 2 for now. My cats were a little weary about it at first, but got used to it almost instantly within a day. All in all a great product once you figure out that it runs off the 2g networks only and you MUST NOT have the wifi network name have any special characters in it. For example Ziply2g will work, not Ziply_2g. After that it will connect. ... show more

    • Weight sensor errors make this useless
Worked great for about 5 weeks. Then it started getting errors on the weight sensor. You don't get a notification of the error from the app, and there's no way to reset the litter box from the app, so the only way to know there is an issue is to physically walk by and notice. Since I mainly got this for when I am traveling, it defeats the purpose. Save your money and just go get the litter robot. ... show more

I have just purchased my third Catlink Scooper SE. One I gifted to an elderly lady who had a difficult time scooping litter. She loves it and how simple it is to use. My third will be for my husband who is now in assisted living. Although I love the unit and can’t say enough good things about it, I’m actually writing this review because of the outstanding Customer Service/Support. I had a calibration issue with my unit, emailed them and had a response within hours. I then had a squeaking issue, they responded within hours. This was an issued that had to be researched with their technicians, but they responded within days. Love Catlink and highly recommend.
