The reason why I purchased this was because the one I had for a year had a lot of issue with staying clean (even on a regular cleaning & filter replacement schedule). So that one got tossed out due to health issues it could cause my cat. Then I waited awhile and did research to make sure I got the right fountain this time around. I’ve been using this for about 2+ months at this point and everything is functioning just how it was on day 1. This one checked all of my boxes: easy to disassemble and clean, reliable filters, stainless steel, & cute. Setup was fairly easy, but some more in-depth instructions would’ve been helpful, but I was able to put everything together within 15-20 minutes. Some reviews said that it was loud, and while the noise that I have experienced hasn’t bothered me, it’s easy to make it quiet. If the fountain is just a bubbler (without the flowers) it’s extremely quiet, but my cat likes it with the flower as a bubbler (without the yellow center). There’s some noise of the water hitting which seems to be expected anyways, but I’ve noticed that the noise helps to kinda remind my cat to drink throughout the day. Cleaning is really easy. The pump has a replaceable filter and completely disassembles as well as the water filter. Every part can be cleaned separately (and I have mine soak in hot, soapy water for about 15 minutes while cleaning). The water filters can be replaced once a month, but due to the location of the fountain in my home, I’ve found the best results with replacing it every 2-3 weeks. The filters are very affordable and I can now trust that my cat is getting clean water. The amount of water that the fountain can hold lasts for about 5-6 days (in a 1 cat house) before I empty, quick clean, and refill or just refill with filtered water if I don’t have much time. I have had this fountain for a little over a month now and it has done wonders on my baby girl's water intake. I have noticed her drinking way more water with the fountain than when she had a simple water bowl. I love that I can see how much water she's drank with the water level in the basin. Pump runs quietly until the water reaches about halfway, but even then is not loud enough to be disruptive. I take the fountain apart weekly to clean and refill. It takes all of 5 minutes. One of the suctions on the pump did come loose which is annoying because it is almost impossible to secure back in the hole for it. Other than that, it is a fantastic product.     • Perfect— unless you lose power!
Love having a fountain for my cats— I had an earlier version of this brand where there was always water on the outside, even if the power became disconnected. After a night away, I discovered this version’s biggest flaw when the power became disconnected on accident— there was no access to water at all. As this is my cats’ main water source, it’s now a major concern for when I leave town again and necessitates me leaving out extra spots to access water just in case.     • My dogs and cats drink regularly from it! Much easier to deal with than a water bowl.
I was daily refilling and washing out a large water bowl for 2 dogs and 2 cats. This water fountain is so much easier and better for them since it is filtering the water. I discovered that I just have to add about 3-4 cups of water into the drinking area of the device and it wills it to the proper level. Then once a month I change the filter (super easy to do). They also advise you to check the parts that no debris has accumulated. They will answer all your questions - you won't regret buying this and the price is very reasonable! ... show more

I previously had a pet water fountain and it was not stainless steel so it started to accumulate hard water build up and white stains. The filters were more expensive as was the purchase of the fountain. The design of this fountain is so cute and the water stays contained. No leaking under the machine. It also comes with a cute rubber mat which is really nice. The blue light gives the perfect glow so it’s easily seen in a dark room. Love this fountain and the price is so so affordable. I had 2 cats that sloshed water out of the bowl. They use this & there's no water on the floor. 1 cat took a little longer than the other. She is timid & was a little afraid. Now they all use it. There is a noise but it is soothing like a fountain. If I were around it for longer, I would go to sleep :) ... show more

    • Pump broke after 3 months of use but good customer service
ETA: After going round and round with the Amazon AI system I was finally able to send a message (note do not mark it as a problem with the product and just say it's a general inquiry!) to the seller and they reacted quickly and are sending me a new pump. I appreciate their good customer service. I have been using this for just a little over 3 months. I have followed all the cleaning instructions, etc. After cleaning today the pump no longer works.
