I love this automatic feeder! I have two that I use for both of my cats. The app makes it convenient to check on the status of my cats' food, when they were fed, the next time they will be fed, and if the feeder is empty or not. It also tells you whether it is plugged into wall power or operating off of batteries. I love that it has the option to run off of batteries rather than the cord, it looks very sleek in my kitchen. As far as keeping my cats out, it works great for me. My kitten is constantly trying to break in and get food. but many month later he still hasn't been able to! I feel much more comfortable traveling and leaving my cats at home knowing that this feeder will operate as needed. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So far, I love this feeder. I bought three. I’m really happy and relieved because I had been looking at automatic feeders for over a month and ended up buying some that I had to return because my cats were able to get extra food out of the food dispenser. Two of my cats are a little chunky, so that was one of my main concerns when getting another. Pros: -Very secure! My cats haven’t been able to get food out of the top and they haven’t been able to get food out of the hole where the food dispenses. They stick their paws up there and try to get food out and so far, no extra food has fallen out. I even saw another review that said their cat learned to knock the feeder around and extra food would fall out, so I was nervous about buying these, but I haven’t had that problem. I even shook the feeders around to test it and it was fine. But if you do have a very determined cat, I’d suggest getting some Velcro stickers for the bottom of the feeder to hold it in place so it can’t tip over, because they’re on the smaller side. -Food dispenses at pretty much the same time. I bought three for my three cats and all the food dispenses at the same time, if not one or two seconds apart. -Very sleek and modern look. Most automatic cat feeders are 4 liters or bigger, so I like that this one is smaller and doesn’t take up so much space. -Rechargeable batteries. You can choose to keep the feeders plugged in and charging while using them, or you can unplug them and have them off the charger. -Battery life. I’ve had the feeders off the charger for almost four weeks now and two of them are at 40% and one of them is at 50%. So the battery life is really good. -App is very user friendly and easy to use. Also, easy set up, as long as you switch your WiFi over to 2.4ghz. Once you set up the feeders, you can switch back to 5ghz. I was having an issue at first with the app. The food would dispense on time throughout the day and then it wouldn’t dispense again starting the next day. I kept having to go back in the app and manually turn them back on. I was so confused. I thought I had them set to all days of the week cause in the app it says “repeat” and then lists all the days of the week. I contacted the customer support and they were super helpful and they told me I need to actually tap the days of the week in the app to get it to repeat lol🤦♀️ so they work great now and dispense at the right days/times. There are many more pros, but those are the main ones that stood out to me. Cons: -If you have multiple feeders, I wish there was a way in the app for the “feed now” button to dispense food from all feeders at the same time. Or I wish there was a way when you’re setting up your pets schedule, you could select all feeders and set them all up at once. Instead you have to do each feeder individually. -Portions. The portions are a little weird. They go by 1/24ths. I feed my cats blue wilderness and each portion is approximately 30 pieces of kibble. Sometimes it’s a little more, sometimes it’s a little less. Nothing major though. I do wish they had better portion options. I like to give my cats a “late night snack” and the first portion is too small, but the second portion is too much. These are definitely not deal breakers though. The pros far outweigh the cons. And as long as the feeders keep working as they should and I get a few years out of them, I will be very happy!! ... show more

    • Very nice pet feeder, included charging cable failed

The pet feeder is nice. It has a decent food capacity, is easy to program with the app (which is AWS dependent but we learned that when AWS fails at least the programs that are already in it run fine). Attractive, simple to use. I like the fact that it actually runs on a battery and can run for several days without power, which is nice to ensure that feeding happens even when the power fails, ensuring that my cats are fed and happy. The only real problem we ran into was that the included 90 degree charging cable failed within the first few days. Amazon would only accept a full return of the item, which felt incredibly wasteful, and PETLIBRO customer service, while responsive, only offered me the option to purchase a replacement cable and it was really expensive. Fortunately the unit uses USB-C to charge so we just charged it up for a few days using a normal cable and bought an inexpensive 90 degree USB-C cable which now works just fine. It's kind of a shame the company included such a poor cable with a really nice product, and then would not replace it when it failed after just 2-3 days of use. But at least they used a standard USB-C port so the problem could be fixed cheaply and not wastefully. ... show more

Ordered this particular one as I saw my neighbor had it for their cat and had been looking for something to help with auto feeding instead of my cat waiting on me all the time. Was able to purchase this during prime days and got a great deal on it. The best features are the scheduling different times and amounts for the day and the ease of changing the schedule when needed. I was able to do an auto feed while I was away and it provided the correct amount of of food my pet needed! It’s easy to set up and comes nicely packed and ready for use. The app you use to schedule and set up your device does have an added features for purchase however the basic auto functions are free. I’ve only had to charge it once since receiving it a few months ago or you can also leave it plugged in if needed. A good investment on keeping your cats on schedule with their feedings and you are able to control exactly what you’re giving them. It’s easy to fill and reminds you when it’s low on food!
