El producto llego y fue muy fácil de instalar. Funciona hasta ahora muy bien. El único detalle es que el alcance del WI Fi es bajo, instale dos equipos de diferentes marcas y el DOEL, a pesar de estar mas cerca del MODEM reporta fallas en la señal, pero funciona.

    • A great way to manage your pet's food!
My kitty is very demanding when it comes to her food. I wanted to switch her from free feeding to scheduled feeding to help her lose some extra weight. A feeder like this was a necessity as I would sometimes run into trouble making sure to feed her at the same times each day. This feeder is super easy to use. The setup is simple, and it has a locking mechanism that keeps the food securely inside so it won't fall out if the feeder happens to tip over, and the cat also cannot get inside. The top also locks down and does not come loose. Once the setup is complete, you just plug it in, and then download the app and set it up. It has both on demand feeding options and scheduled feeding options. I primarily use the scheduled feeding option. I just set the times I want the feeder to dispense food and the portion size, and it is good to go from there. All you need to do is make sure that it is plugged into the wall or has batteries in, and it is good to go. It has been very reliable and does not jam or anything. I really enjoy it. I wish it had an option to let you know when the food was getting low. It will tell you via the app when it has been offline for an extended period of time. This thing works great and I really have no complaints and that is fairly unusual because I can usually always find something suboptimal about a product like this. That said here are my observations. I love that you plug it in but it also has battery backup. I wish it used AA instead of D Cell batteries. Truthfully you don't need batteries at all but if you want it to work in a power outage then you need the batteries. Setup is pretty straight forward but if you are a smart home nu-be then it might be a little challenging for you because the instructions aren't great. It makes reference to bluetooth and I found no bluetooth to be necessary. Set up is done through WiFi. Once set up the app is very easy to use. Each portion is quite small which I think is good because it allows you to tune the serving size. You can do up to 12 servings at a time which would be good for any sixe dog or cat other than a Great Dane or equivalent. Even then, you could just set up 2 feeding events back to back and give up to 24 servings total. It does even servings with small, consistently sized kibble. However, I mix three different sized kibbles and it does seem to struggle with that a bit. On one occasion it will dole out what is expected and at other times it seems a little short on quantity. I think it really doesn't like the larger size kibble I use. If you have small single size kibble it will work perfectly. I like this device much more than I expected. ... show more

I bought this automatic feeder because my cat needs to eat small portions throughout the day or his food comes back up. I liked that the feeder can be set to feed small portions up to 10x per day. Unfortunately the smallest portion size, #1, is still too much, about 8 grams. I need 4 grams. I used a separate food scale to figure out what his ideal portion size weighs in grams and ounces. Pro: liked the small size and appearance. App took a little trial and error but it seems easy to use. The search continues.... ... show more

    • It's a good option
Portion size is very small, it basically doesn't work on 1 and 2, it started dispensing only on setting 3. You can always set the higher setting, but the idea for me was to dispense less and if needed dispense more later. The feeder is very easy to set up, you can record your voice that calls out the cat right before dispensing the food. The only thing is that it has trouble reconecting to wifi if it gets disconected: when we first received it, we set it up to check the features. After succesful testing, we had to unplug it in order to move it to it's proper location. It didn't reconect to wifi right away, we had to reset it again. After that's done, it worked flawlessly. It is sure durable: my cat knocked it of of the pedestal two times trying to access "locked" food. We keep it on the floor now. She can't open the lid to the food container, but she managed to remove the feeding bowl from the base, probably trying to dig her way in through the feeding hole. I wish it was better conected together. She stopped doing that , because we give her extra portion. She sure has her own opinion about her diet.
