I use this for my cat food and duck food storage. It works great and makes it so easy to refill the containers I use to feed the feral cats in a park near by. The bottom holds a 20lb bag perfectly. I like that I can remove the top container yet it sits firmly on the bottom one when stacked. So easy to roll around with the wheels. That's an added plus!! I've been using one of these for 10 years now. I bought it back in 2014 and it is now 2024. It's great, I've never had any issues with it and it gets moved around and used daily for my dog. Clearly it has served its function well after all these years of daily use, and I've not had to replace it.

Easily fits a 25 lb bag of flour (even with the paper sack). Would probably fit 50 lbs poured in. Love the wheels so I can store it in my pantry and move it easily to where I make my dough. Comes with a bonus tub that's perfect for a bag of cat food (or a different type of flour) and came with a big scoop that happens to be the weight of flour I use per batch of bread.     • Not Airtight but Still A Great Container!

I bought this mainly for the lower one because I was tired of having open bags of cat food propped up against the cabinet in the kitchen. The bag is anywhere from 22-30 lbs. so much too big to fit in my tiny cabinet and was constantly in the way. This container is on wheels and shaped nice to fit along side of the cabinet and easy to pull out when need be and pushed back in place. It really did solve my needs for the cat food and no more open bags falling over when I move it to get into the cabinet. The wheels on this really do work well: despite the bottom being full to the rim of dry cat food my Rumba (vacuum) will move this out of its way, just to give you an ideal how easy it is to roll on a floor. It comes with a scoop which is a nice size and of course there is the upper smaller container which sits on top. The lid on the bottom container has indents (like a grove) that the top one sits into so it isn't easily knocked off. It is great for storing treats or extra food that won't fit in the bottom one. For example, when I buy a 30lb bag of dry food, I don't wait until I am completely out of food so there is some left in the bottom which means I can't fit the full 30 lbs. in but between the top and bottom one, I can empty the bag and throw it away with no 'extra' open cat food bag. (I am not sure if it would hold 30 lbs. even if it were empty but it does hold 22 lbs. with room to spare). I personally love it and had used it almost 3 months now with no issues. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is because I do not believe it to be airtight which the seller claims it is. It closes well, don't get me wrong. The lids are hinged on the back side and have a handle that 'latches' on the front which is nice (this 'latch' is not tight) but when I filled the top one with water (of course water is heavier than air but I even tried to hold the top tight) and turned it, it did leak out so I doubt very much it is airtight. I wouldn't recommend this for any type of long-term storage of food but for my needs of just holding the food as I use it, it is really fantastic. ... show more

We have had this container for over five years and it’s still in great condition. We keep dog treats in the top and dog food in the bottom. The wheels still work, the latches still work, the scoop is still good. I would definitely buy it again if I ever had to, but at this rate, I think it’s gonna last forever. ... show more

I bought this item two years ago and it's been the absolute, hands down, best pet food storage container I've ever purchased. I've been using the bottom for a 16lb bag of dry cat food, (with room to spare) and the top container for a 6lb bag of dry dog food, with the included scoop,and there's still loads of room to spare. KEEPS PET FOOD FRESH: I purchase both pet foods monthly and it keeps the food as fresh as the day I opened the bags.I've never had the pet food go stale month to month. If you have just one type of pet, the bottom can be used for the dry food and the top can be used for treats that tend to go stale more quickly. SPACE SAVER: It rolls smoothly and because it's on the narrow side, it fits in a space smaller than I thought it would. For me, 22lbs of pet food all in one neat little space, gave me part of my pantry back. IT'S DURABLE: After two years of daily use, it's held up beautifully. The clips and the hinges are still attached and intact. Even when I dropped the top container filled with food, it's never opened, the plastic has never cracked.The cats love to take a running jump onto the top and ride it while I roll it across the kitchen...so does my three year old . hah! Yeah, it's pretty durable! :) If I ever need another, I'm definitely going with IRIS brand.
