Size: 6"/8"/10" Cast Iron Skillet Set
I love cooking with cast iron. Years ago I was seriously anemic, and a doctor told me I could actually improve my iron levels by cooking in cast iron and guess what: he was right! With cast iron, you can go from the stove to the oven, and even cook on your grill or over and open fire with them. They're extremely versatile. But you have to take care of them so they don't rust. They're super easy to wipe out after cooking in them (except for eggs, which you have to scrape off). I rinse mine (no soap - it gets embedded in the finish - not good), scrape if necessary, wipe with a dry paper towel, then rub a tiny, thin coating of oil (olive or coconut) over the surface, and never have a rust problem. These come seasoned, but they will get seasoned even better over time with use. So anyway, I already have a 12" skillet and a griddle, and I want all my cookware to be cast iron so I was super excited to find this set. It's a great price for three skillets (currently it's $33), making them just $11 each. The small 6" one is great for sauteeing onions or mushrooms, for desserts, like a big cookie or small cobbler, or hot dips. The middle one is great for nachos, individual pizzas, or cooking dinner for one or two people. The 10" is the size I use most often. You can fit most anything you need in it. My big 12" is quite heavy, so I find myself gravitating to the 10". This set is seasoned and ready to go right out of the box, which is nice. So far they're doing great, and I expect they'll hold up for a lifetime or more if they're cared for! I'm happy I got them.

I have some larger Lodge cast-iron pans that I've owned for over a decade now. I wanted to get a smaller set for easier carrying/packing for camping trips, and also be small enough to fit inside my 15" Ooni pizza oven. There is no noticeable difference in quality between these isheTao cast-iron skillets and the Lodge skillets that I've owned for years. They're ready to go pretty much out of the box since they're pre-seasoned, I just gave them all a quick wash before using. I look forward to many more cooks with these pans in the future, they've held up well for the half-dozen cooks I've used them for so far. I like the 6-inch for frying 2-3 eggs in the morning, the 8-inch for warming up tortillas, and the 10-inch is great for larger stir-fries or other larger meals while camping or outdoor cooking.

We lost all of our cast iron cookware during a move a few years back and my wife and I have been thinking about replacing them but we've been putting it off far too long. When I saw these cast iron skillets I was like "these would be perfect for us!" and got them. The skillets have a wonderful weight too them, and eve though they're seasoned, they're not seasoned to our specifications so now we're in the process of doing that. So far these skillets perform their tasks flawlessly and they really do hold the heat in. All in all, we're super happy with these skillets and we're looking forward to using them for years to come once their seasoned to our likes!

This is a great set for the money! The quality is decent and they're functional. They're not as heavy as the more expensive cast iron but they work well. I haven't had the first issue with food sticking to the pans. I love that they come seasoned but you still need to use butter, oil, etc., in order to continue keeping them seasoned. They look nice and work well.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: niightmare if you dont follow directions, so i got this and used the little one to cook an egg, it is textured and rough and i have another that came smooth and i cooked right away on it and nothing happened, well this egg stuck to this pan with oil and for 2 days i scrubbed and left in water and the pan rusted, LATER i discovered you are supposed to season them, nwhich is what i did, and dry them not leave them sitting in water or wet, then this pan had some silver scratches apparently this is normal, operator error not pan error, they are not super heavy they are solid and will use as directed from now on

The set of skillets are solid cookware. The skillets if seasoned correctly will be very easy to clean and food will not stick. The cast iron is a great conductor of heat and can be used on about any type of heat source. The skillets work well and are great for the camper.
