  • Best value Best/easiest water changes EVER!!
Size: 49-FT
OMG!!! If you haven’t tried one of these or seen one in action u absolutely must! It used to take me over 4 hours to do a water change on just one of my 2 tanks! Hauling all that water out and all that water back... then I blew out my back and knee... of course the tanks suffered... horribly... soooo I paid a lot of money for somebody to come clean one... took him an hour... to clean a 60 gallon tank of snot! He NEVER touched a bucket except to put the massive amounts of algae in. Imagine... doing an 80...90% water change in less than 30 minutes and never touch a bucket! He had a “Python” system 25 ft... his cost $95.00 and didn’t fit my kitchen sink. This one was like $45.00 and 43 feet and fit my kitchen sink. I’ve been doing aquariums all my life... and always did things “the old way”... don’t do that!!! Be smart spend the money and be done with back breaking, messy water changes! U can see in the pics doing just a 25% change the old way... I had to move 110 gallons of water 10 gallons at a time! No more!!! I did 80%, filters, and scrubbed the glass in BOTH tanks in less than two hours! NEVER touched a bucket, NEVER carried one drop of water! ... show more

  • stop being cheap and get a python
Size: 33-FT
Do yourself a favor and buy the Python. I first tried the Aqueon Water Changer/ Siphon and hated it. I then purchased this one from Hygger because I have other products from Hygger that I love. It is a big improvement from the Aqueon but still not what I expected. It didn't fit any of my faucets except my outside water spicket, not a deal breaker you can buy other faucet adapters, but the switch to turn it off and on blew right off from the pressure. I then bought a python and it is a life changer. It works like a dream they have done their homework even the direction on how to use it are superior to both the Hygger and Aqueon! ... show more

  • The Aqueon is actually better
Size: 33-FT
I needed to replace my Aqueon because it was worn out and gross. Im not happy with this. I already threw my other one away and threw away the box this came in or else i would send it back. I hate how small the tubing it and this thing gets clogged like crazy. That NEVER happened with my other one. The anti clog puece inside actually makes it worse so I took it out. If you have a planted tanks amd have to suck up a lot of plant debris out of aquarium dont even bother with thing. And also the tubing part that goes inside the tank if way too long. At first I thought that was a good thing until I used it and saw that particles in the tabk struggle to get sucked up cause it has to go all the way up the tube before getting sucked into the tubing. I hate this thing and water changes take twice the time it did with my Aqueon. ... show more

  • This thing makes it so much easier
Size: 33-FT
The media could not be loaded. I didn't want to waste water so I added a fountain pump. This combination is outstanding. I just did water changes on two 20-gallon tanks and a 50-gallon tank in about 30 minutes. I had a similar rig 40 years ago, don't know why I waited so long.

  • You'll likely need to go to homedepot & get a US sized faucet adapter
Size: 49-FT
The pressure could be better but this definitely made life easier with the process of aquarium water changes and rrducing the number of steps it takes. The threaded bit that goes into the sink, is ill-fitted and I had to purchase a new one from homedepot. It's just the part that screws directly into the sink faucet and cost me about a dollar. But the one that comes with the package, out of the box, from Amazon, is not the standard US size. But if you live in a metropolitan area, it's easy to get the correct size replacement. For the price, this isn't a big deal to me. But it would have been nice to have it work out of the box. I use this often and it has improved the amount of time I used to take to do water changes. ... show more

  • broke
Size: 25-FT
1) Cheap material: The attachment that connects to the sink broke when i tried to fasten to the sink. The threads matched up, it wasn't a stripping issue, the entire nut cracked off. I didn't think i was being to rough but I maybe have been. If you ask me, I'd say it's pretty cheap plastic... 2) Not very effective in removing water from tank: I found that it wasn't as affective as the small vacuum in removing the water from fish tank but this may be operator error. Using gravity, it's very easy to pump water out of fish tank into buckets using my small vacuum (not this product). But using this product, the hose was so long and running it from fish tank to the sink wasn't very effective, in my experience, in removing the water. Plus side - Putting water back in the tank was very effective ... but getting it out wasn't, at least that was my experience ... show more

  • Hygger water changer is easy to use and safe for fish!
Size: 25-FT
The media could not be loaded. I love the extra attachments and the ball valves on the gravel cleaner as well as on the faucet. The vacuum part is long for reaching in taller tanks and the small attachment cleans bare bottom tanks nicely. There is a plastic screen at the top and the ball valve to instantly release the vacuum pressure if a fish swims up. The hose is also soft and pliable. 24 feet reached all my tanks. ... show more

I got this for a friend who was struggling with water changes. It came already package nice enough to gift. Looks like great quality well made. I helped her figure out how to use it and showed her that you don't have to lug heavy buckets. Easy to attach to the faucet.
