I absolutely love this CAROTE frying pan! It has become one of my favorite kitchen pans, and I love it so much that I now own three of the same one. The quality is excellent, the nonstick surface works beautifully, and the pan feels durable and well made. The size and fit are perfect for making flat dishes like pancakes, crepes, tortillas, flat pasta preparations, and foods that need an even shape and surface while cooking. Heat distribution feels very even, and I have not experienced warping issues. The color and overall appearance are also beautiful and make the kitchen look more elegant. It’s lightweight, practical, and very easy to clean. This model does not include a lid, but honestly the performance of the pan itself is so good that it doesn’t bother me. CAROTE truly has a special place in my heart! At this point, CAROTE has honestly become my favorite cookware brand. I already own three of these pans and keep recommending them because the quality, design, and performance are consistently excellent. I’m currently waiting for a good opportunity to finally buy the beautiful reddish-brown CAROTE cookware set, the color is absolutely stunning and perfectly matches my favorite kitchen aesthetic. Hopefully one day I’ll add that dream set to my collection because CAROTE truly has a special place in my heart!

Love these pans, got different sizes. This is the 3rd of these Carote pans I've bought, with lids. Washes out without scrubbing, great non stick. Do not use to cook at high heat or use abrasive scrubbing.

I love this pan. ...Which isn't a sentence I ever anticipated writing, but the high quality of this pan, with the exceptional stick-free performance its ceramic finish gives. It's balanced, and feels substantial, not flimsy like most inexpensive pans. This morning, I browned sausage links, then cooked eggs in it. Absolutely no sticking. And cleanup is a quick breeze. Highly recommend.

My wife likes this pan allot. Her only complaint is the handle. It sticks up too much and trying to fit it a drawer with the other pots and pans means having to turn it upside down in order to make it fit. It’s a very awkward design as it’s much easier to accidentally knock it when on the stove since it sticks up so much. She has other pans from this maker and they don’t have this type of awkward handle. She also said she had to bore out the hole for the screw in order to be able to attach the handle and wonders why they can’t be attached rather than having to do it yourself. The pan works good on our induction stove top and heats up quickly and all in all is good pan.

First things first: For 16 yrs I was housewares manager @ Bed Bath & Beyond store #38 in San Fran. It was a huge store & had two floors. BBB spent a ton of money sending me to different manufacturers facilities to actually learn every aspect of design, functionality and above all care of great cookware like Calphalon, Meyer and yes the big dog All Clad so I consider myself an expert on what makes a great pan. Carote pans make you remember why you love to cook. If you don’t, it comes to the rescue every time by making short work of all tasks undertaken. I purchased both 8 & 10” pans in August. It took me no time to realize I hadn’t used my All Clad, Calphalon & Cooks Standard 8 & 10” pans. (these are excellent pans but as I’ve gotten older it’s sometimes difficult to manipulate these heavier pans once laden with food). I decided to add 12” pan but wanted to wait for Black Friday deals. Experience: Cooking: heats up nicely & cooks evenly with little oil. Importance: When a pan heats up quickly, it could be good or bad. If it isn’t well made, it will in no time at all get hot spots (more on that below under “care”). If it heats evenly, there’s less likelihood of sticking or uneven levels of doneness. Heat Distribution; When manufacturers talk about heat distribution, part of the consideration for the cook time is factored into the design . Until Carote, I ALWAYS followed the best practices of purchasing pots/pans that had a copper core. Why? Copper is widely considered the best conductor of heat which remains consistent thereby optimizing the goals of the cook and energy efficiency not to mention saving time. Somehow the geniuses at Carote managed to provide all the attributes of a $300.00 pan in these awesome pans that are now my go-to. Care: Please, please don’t be fooled by putting your pans in the dishwasher. Yes, the manufacturer says they are dishwasher safe but… each time they go into the dishwasher the coating is absolutely compromised. Over time I promise you’ll regret it. It’s sort of like manufacturers of “microwave safe” containers attempting to assure the sale by printing microwave safe on the packaging. Sure, you can do it but the manufacturer promise of safety isn’t backed by some 3rd party that’s licensed to be a consumer watch dog. Question: What kind of cook puts a “non stick” pan in a dishwasher? Just wipe it out and it’s ready for use right? Tip: never EVER put cold water in a hot pan. This is the #1 mistake of cooks everywhere. Why? A: Cold water shocks the pan in a way that disrupts the molecules and the pan will never in a million years be the same. B: Putting cold water in a hot pan can cause it to warp or cause the dreaded hot spots we all detest. Tip: Please don’t use metal as it will scrap even the best non stick pan. Why? Over time the metal damages the coating which is there to protect the surface of the cookware. (If you insist on using metal utensils, you’ll be better off purchasing aluminum pans.) Plastic? Don’t do it… it’s just as bad or worse than metal because plastic can become brittle over time and chip into the food but does negatively impact inner surface of pan. Wooden utensils? Absolutely but! Never buy wooden utensils that are not bamboo. Why? Wooden utensils can swell and split. It’s weird how many people spend money on great cookware which gets ruined by substandard utensils. Those splinters will be consumed when eating but bamboo? It cost more but you’ll never have to replace bamboo. I’ve got utensils I’ve used since my kids were in pre school and they are now 31 & 35. Selection: Be sure it’s not a “bamboo blend” or some other type of play on words. Your pots/pans are an investment and if taken care of will last a lifetime. Finally, it’s just as important to keep exterior of your pans clean. Food build up from cooked on spills interfere with heat distribution. Always try to hang your pots (if you don’t have a hanging pot, try hanging them on the wall instead of putting things on the wall to decorate the kitchen). Why? This creates a functional cooking space & prevents internal scratching of cookware plus, has each utensil within reach. I would 100% recommend these pans for yourself or a great gift.
