First impression: The box is rather small to hold all those pieces (30). Nor was it as heavy as expected. They did not include one thing that would have been nice to have. Something in writing about how to use the detachable handles. Mastered them after fiddling with them. You do need to attach the handles to the lids. Things are so simple to figure out that it isn't a problem. Just something that might have been nice to have added along with their warranty information. The color is very dark, steel blue, and the inside of the pans is black. The pans are not super large. Nor are they super small. For instance, I have this old teflon pan that we've had for years which is the right size for an egg. The small frying pan in this set is perfect for eggs. The bottom is flat so the eggs cook evenly. With a minimum amount of butter the eggs did not stick to the pan but slid right out. One other wonderful little thing is that the pans don't slide around on the stove. My older pans when you stir or such slide on the 'burner' on my cooktop. I am disabled and have trouble using my left hand and this has been a big annoyance for me having to stabilize the pan while stirring. I put this pan on the stove and was stirring and the pan wasn't moving around. Wonderful for someone like me who is reduced to cooking mostly with one hand. I had never had a pan with detachable handles before thus having to transfer food from the frying pan to a baking pan but the added joy of the detachable handle came into play with our dinner. We cooked what needed to be cooked on the burner, removed the handle and popped the pan in the oven. No worries about ruining the handle or the pan. It added a new dimension to using these pans. Because we could use the same pan, fewer dishes for cleanup. Every pan has pour spouts. Nice addition. I do cook a lot of sauces and foods cooked in sauces. So easy to pour the food onto the serving dishes with the spout without spilling. I did not need as much oil or butter to fry with. The food did not stick to the pans when frying. The potatoes and squash slid right out. So did the hamburgers and eggs. The omelet was so easy to prepare in the pan. Being able to easily slide that pan minus the detachable handle into the oven to melt and brown a cheese topping made the omelet that much more fun to cook. Pancakes browned nicely without sticking. Take a good look at the sizes of the pans. You have 2, 3 and 5 quart saucepans. The 5 quart pan is referred to as a saute pan. The frying pans are a bit bigger at 11, 9.5 and 8 inches. The 8 inches is my new favorite egg pan. The 2 silicon covers work great on the 2 saucepans for storing leftovers in the fridge or transporting food. They have a very good seal. The lids are quite thick. You need to attach the handles which is quite simple. They have a thick silicon seal around the edge. I would not put these in the the oven for fear of the silicon melting or becoming weak. Two of the lids have the indention for the handle. The third is for the casserole pan and it does not. I opted to use the smaller saucepan as it was just the right size for making a meatloaf for the two of us and mixing everything in the pan. Very little food stuck when time to serve. I did not use a lid in the oven due to the wood handle. For storage the detachable handles make a big difference. The pans stack nicely together in a stack taking up less room than when you have to fiddle with the handles in the cupboard. They threw in 3 thick trivets which are great for moving the pan from stove to table or counter. They also threw in the protectors for putting between the pans when in storage to prevent scratching. A bonus is the utensils. They come with their own holder. There is a pair of thin tongs, spatula, ladle, pancake turner and regular slotted flipper. Everything is made of silicon. The pans are not really heavy. I have ceramic pans and others that weigh a lot more. I was quite impressed with that. They are made of titanium. I have run these through the dishwasher several times with no problems noted. The set is a good one. I would recommend it for anyone who appreciates good cookware. Would make great wedding or housewarming gifts.

The media could not be loaded. This is a nice collection of kitchen kit. The detachable handles improve flexibility by leaps and bounds, like you'd hope, as do the silicone seals for storage. So far, it all seems very high-quality and I don't expect to see any chipping or degradation. The only thing I found wanting was the lack of a lid for the smallest pot (I had hoped to use it for my mac n cheese). I won't take any stars for that since it's evident from the product description. The pots each have their little pouring spouts which, coming from other pots which don't have this feature, will be a welcome change. However, unlike a pot I once had, the silicone-lined lids don't have a strainer built in. But that would make the lids more unwieldy, so... trade-offs, I suppose. The three trivets (protective pot mats) are all comfortably thick enough that you can imagine putting hot pots on just about any surface, including heat-sensitive like glass. The exception may be the biggest pot, though, since the trivets are all the same size and the bottom of the biggest pot extends past that by a good inch and a half when centered on it. You can imagine that resulting in radiative heat damage. The utensils are all a very nice, consistent silicone material of matching color. They instill confidence that scratches will be avoided as well as microplastics (being silicone). The only thing to be aware of is that the spatulas have a soft edge. If you need to break up something harder in the pan, you'll want something more rigid like wood or (if the pot can bear it or you're careful) metal. Please see photos for amount of flex in the edge. There's not much to say about the detachable handles except "they work" and they instill confidence that they won't break and spill the hot contents of your pot, even when weighed down. I'd still use two hands, one on the handle, one with a pot holder, especially with little ones or pets around, but that's mostly out of an abundance of caution. All in all, I don't have any regrets on getting this cookware set. Again, please see the photos which match where I tried to call out important details.
