Our granddaughter has been going to physical therapy for juvenile arthritis and my daughter was looking for something that her daughter could use at home in addition to the PT. Most exercise bikes are too large for children (she is 9 and 4'3" tall). I did a search on Amazon and came across this one. It says it is rated for 4'4" up to 6'3" so I figured if it was too big, my daughter and her husband could use it for now. However, my granddaughter fits perfectly on the smallest settings, and she is able to use this bike without any issues. Once I decided to get this model, I ordered it directly from Caromix via Amazon. It was delivered in a matter of days and the box was in perfect shape on arrival. I uncrated everything and laid out all of the parts. I was pleasantly surprised that all of the nuts, bolts and screws were already in place. We just needed to loosen and remove them and then put them back when adding the parts to the mainframe. It was quite easy to assemble, even though the instructions were a bit difficult to read with the small print. It was so easy, that my granddaughter actually did just about everything, with me telling her where to put the parts and holding them while she attached everything. All the tools were included too. Once assembled, she couldn't wait to try it out. You can see the cardboard, instructions and tools were still out as we literally had just finished with the assembly when I took this picture. Her smile in the picture says it all. She said it was very easy to pedal for her in the easy setting. She was able to use the hand and foot resistant bands also, with no trouble at all. She said this machine is like the ones she uses at physical therapy, so I guess that means it is that good. It folds up to a standing position, with no need to lean it against something once folded. It is not something that a 9 year old can fold up but that is a good thing as it shows how sturdy it is. There are several adjustments that can be made to change the height, angle and tension, so it can be used by the entire family. They now have it in their house and my granddaughter is using it on a regular basis without being told to do so. She said it is so much fun, while giving her the physical therapy that will hopefully help her to get out of pain in the future. The positives I have to sum up are quality construction, ease of assembly, adjustable to different size users, very comfortable seat, adjustable tension, an LCD display monitor that gives a lot of information regarding the workout, very quiet operation, and an unbelievable value for what I paid for it. The bike was easy to assemble, the directions were clear and you don't have to search for the nuts & bolts as they were in the places they need to be, and it comes with the tools needed. The seat height adjuster is a little fiddle-y but we won't need to change seat height so it won't be a problem for us. The bike has a fairly small footprint so it's great in our apartment which doesn't have much space. Using the bike is nice. The seat is comfortable, and the digital display is easy to understand. The resistance level is easy to adjust and the arm resistance bands provide a good workout while you pedal. ... show more

I'm 71. I assembled this unit alone. Directions were complicated but I took the time to study the pictures a few days with the pieces laid out on the floor. I was prepared when I started. I assembled with no problems. This is for my husband during his PT time. He needed a back rest and likes this bike. He does add an oblong pillow at his lower back but he has lower back pain regardless of where he sits. The stirrups hold the foot. The buckle is a little confusing till you see you need to remove the strap and pinch the little buckle. The tensions have a nice range. The electronic board is simple with the right amount of information. We have yet to use the tension straps but I think they are a benefit to the unit. Adjustment is no complicated. The seat is great. Folding and moving is easy. The unit is solid steal. I have NO idea how they sell it for such a great price. Others noted tipping...we have not had that problem. ... show more

I took on this project myself as a 60 something female and it was super easy. Everything lined up, all the nuts, bolts and washers were already in the holes they needed to be in, so all I needed to do was follow the directions, unscrewing, attaching pieces and then screwing them back together. It seems to be sturdy enough and I like that it's portable. There are arm resistance bands up near the handlebars and down on the lower frame below the seat. My only suggestion would be to send the grips for both sets of resistance bands so you don't have to switch them depending upon which bands you were wanting to use. I have not heavily used it yet, but the pedals seemed to operate smoothly and you are able to adjust the tension. I purchased this as a light exercise option to keep my body moving and to switch things up from the treadmill. It seems like this will be perfect for that purpose. ... show more

The Bike came in on time. no damage to the box. The assemble time is around 15 minutes without any help. The screw is attached to the proper spot so you don't have to look or match them. The exercise bike is foldable and saves me space. The test ride is great. I rode it when I was watch TV and the arm work out attachment is operated with a heavy duty resistance band which will help you tone the arm. it is great for burning calories while doing nothing. the seat is soft and the back support is just what I need. The resistance is easily adjusted for a beginner like me, I would need to take it easy first. I would recommend this bike to friends. ... show more

Nice-looking machine with all the basic functions you need. Light with small wheels on the bottom so it’s easy to move around the house. Works better as a recumbent style bike. Love the resistance bands for an added arm workout.
