I recently returned my Hiboy Max Pro because of tire issues. I spent some time searching for a new scooter and finally decided on the Caroma P7 Scooter. While the price is low, the shipping cost is very high however, upon receiving this scooter today, I can say my first impressions are that it’s pretty awesome. First, be careful opening the box as there are sharp staples, one of which cut my finger. Everything is packaged well and it’s fairly easy to take out of the box. Assembly wasn’t too bad. Tools are provided but the instructions lack a bit so my advice is to YouTube the assembly. The battery comes about half charged. Speaking of battery, that is the only indicator. There is no speed indicator on this scooter. Acceleration is peppy and one of the things I’m most impressed with is when you stop accelerating, the scooter continues at speed for a good period of time before slowing down. Brakes are tight but sorta loud as they are disc brakes. Not bad though. The scooter is also very quiet which is nice. The tires are 14” air filled. I’m skeptical of air filled tires due to past experiences so I hope these are better. The tires absorb the road well which is good because apparently there’s no separate suspension system. The performance of this scooter gives a sense of confidence even when there’s one bar left on the battery. It just feels solid. I haven’t tested the lights yet however, they appear to LED up front. So far it’s great. Maybe not the fanciest out there but sometimes simple is better.

This thing is pretty fast. I was hoping to also stand up on it, but the handle bars don’t go up tall enough and the clip that holds the handle bars upright were not trustworthy as it folded in while I was riding. It’s very light in the front to easily crash. Wish there was a button instead of holding the handle to accelerate, bc when the scooter gets out from under you while holding it, it takes off. It does ride smooth tho.

This scooter is absolute crap and not at all as advertised. I'm well under the weight limit and the top speed is about 12 mph (not 20 as advertised), the battery lasts only about 60 minutes (not multiple hour as advertised) and it only goes on flat or downhill surfaces, any uphill at all and it just fades down in speed until it's barely moving. The handlebars rattle no matter how tight I've made the connections, and the seat post broke off the second time I used it so now the seat has a wobble. This is a terrible product, not sure if I got a dud or what but no way I'd recommend this seller or this scooter going forward.

I waited 5 months to write a review, so I can give a correct review. I bought this for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas. She has rode this almost everyday. This scooter is perfect for riding in a neighborhood, or sidewalk. Not so much, in grass or a yard, unless it’s a child riding. The seat is very comfortable. The battery last for awhile. My only issue has been, keeping my daughter from laying it down on the ground. Both of the keys has bent because of it, and I can’t it to start. So if you’re buying for a child, get some extra keys made. Other than that, this scooter has been great!!

This scooters are what I thought they would be except the seat is horrible. So small, hard and uncomfortable. The seat is actually for a child or a very skinny person. We need to send them back or pay more money and buy better seats.
