This is my first electric scooter I've bought. I was originally going to buy a Vespa (one of the 300s that can go on the highway) for around town usage, so I can have something gas efficient to run to the grocery store. A friend convinced me that I should get this instead, and man am I glad I listened. First things first, this is NOT a toy. It is a very fast scooter that will get up to 45 MPH, and it goes from 0-30 basically instantly. In dual motor high power mode, it will spin the front tire if you don't have enough weight on the front, which is actually fun if you know how to control it. I only ride it with full motorcycle gear in the high power mode. If I don't want to gear up, I leave it in Eco mode where it doesn't really go faster than maybe 10-12 MPH. The initial assembly was straightforward, but I also have experience working on motorcycles and cars, so tightening a a few Allen bolts was pretty easy. The instructions included weren't all that helpful, but I didn't need them. If you get lost or confused, ask a friend who knows how to adjust bicycles, as the skills will transfer over. Riding it is an absolute riot, and leaving it in mid-power mode it's a ton of fun to ride around at low and medium speeds. Almost every time I park it someone comes up to me excitedly asking about it, too! Given how much I spent on it, I'd say it's absolutely worth the amount that's being asked. As far as battery life is concerned, you'll only get the maximum range in Eco mode, which caps out at a low speed, which for this thing is about how fast people cruise around on a pedal bicycle. Leaving it in Gear 2, which caps the speed to 30 MPH, i calculate I should get right around 30 miles out of a full charge. I weigh approximately 225 with all my gear on, plus another up to 10-30 pounds of cargo in my backpack, so keep that in mind. Obviously if you're smaller it'll go a bit further and if you're heavier it won't go as far. That's just the nature of electric vehicles. Sturdiness wise I rate it 5 stars. The frame is all metal and feels extremely strong. There is very little flex on the front forks, so while riding it feels solid and put together. The suspension doesn't have a ton of travel, but it can pop curbs pretty confidently if you do it slowly and practice. It hops off curbs pretty easily, but I don't do that a ton as it's hard on the suspension. Ergonomics are...fine. I'm just under 6 feet tall, so the handlebars are a few inches too low for my liking, otherwise the width is perfect. Stock grips feel nice, better than my $7k Yamaha MT-07 I bought 5 years ago. The controls are plastic, otherwise solid and easy enough to use. I strongly dislike the blinker switch, and it only lights up on the rear....so...why bother? Hand signals it is. Jokes aside, it's a motorcycle style one that does not cancel and requires you to slide the switch back to the middle to cancel, which is annoying. The horn is loud, so I don't use it. I strongly appreciate the bright headlights and side LED strips, they do wonders to help keep you visible. The headlights shine far out enough to actually be useful at night. I don't really feel safe riding around my city at night, but that's a Bay Area problem not the scooter's fault. Handling wise, I like it. It is very easy to control at low speeds and I feel confident making street turns at 15-20MPH aka the speed of traffic on city streets. I'm comfortable riding on the sidewalk at lower speeds in cases where I do not feel safe on the road. The brakes are actually really good. Solid lever feel and the adjustments are great, and I appreciate them being included. Just know the thing only weighs 100 pounds, so practice emergency stops, as you can lock up the wheels pretty easily. It only took me a few minutes to be able to control a rear tire slide while stopping. There's no ABS, so if you pull the lever too hard, the tire will lock up on you. Best bang for buck! Way above anything in its price range! I’ve had mine for more than three years and it still rocks! Crashed multiple times and the only thing that doesn’t quite work right after is me. Definitely would buy again!

I wish i had returned this immediately rather than try to resolve problems. The window for return has closed and im still trying to resolve it. This is meant to be for a weight capacity of at least 400lbs. If you need to use the seat, forget it. Its not going to work. The seat dropped down into the seat post assembly. I almost fell over and got hurt. I had it in my apartment. Put it together. Sat on it. Had the kickstand down, just in case. When i sat down, the seat dropped. I almost fell over, the kickstand ended up hyper extending (the wrong way) and a piece inside broke. It wont stand up correctly. It leans over too far and very likely will fall. I contacted the company. They attempted to help. But you can’t really replace the kickstand because in order to do so. You have to remove the top plate where you put your feet. That shows screws but really, its super glued down and is impossible to remove. Even if you could remove it in order to access the screws inside the box, you also have to remove parts that are not meant to be removed. They are also glued down. The company sent video of how to replace the kickstand. It’s just not happening. They did send me a replacement. U can’t replace it. I added it onto the machine using steal epoxy style glue. Its very slipshod looking. But thats only because there isn’t really a decent way to do it. The seat drops because the clamp meant to support it/ hold it up, wont EVER be tight enough. If you are over a particular weight, its going to drop. I ended up going to a hardware store and purchasing a steel pipe and putting into the seat assembly. That stops the seat from falling. The next issue is that the clamp still won’t ever be tight enough to stop the seat from spinning side to side. I did try to insert a shim. You can’t put anything in between the seat post and the assembly. There is literally no room. The thing is that there is a plastic piece that gets inserted for some reason. It stops the clamp from getting tight enough. If you remove it. There is definitely too much space and the seat will move. Its a year later. I couldn’t use it over the winter, obviously. Now im still trying to get it stable. Im going to have to put a bolt thru the seat pipe and seat assembly. Who knows if it will stay put or how long. The bolt might break. The hole, which has to go sideways through the pipes might get widened over time- since its not supposed to be there. But it seems to be the only way to fix it. I was thinking strong boding epoxy. The thing is that if that seal does break, there will be epoxy inside that i won’t be able to remove. So yeah. If you’re over 225lbs, I wouldn’t buy this. Its totally not worth the headache and you can’t really return it. By the time you buy it, it arrives and put it together, then figure it all out, the return window will be closed. No matter how nice the people are at the company. They are in china and can’t really help you. I went back and forth for a long time sending emails and they wanted videos and pictures and they sent me videos back along with replacement things, It doesn’t matter. SO, when I was looking for a scooter, I had to find one that I could ride. I am a bigger guy. This one fit all the needs, weight limit is great, speed and it can go up hills. The downside is its weight. It's around 100 lbs. It is awkward lifting it into a commuter train. And difficult to lift in and out of my truck. When you get it, there are a few things you need to attach, one is the turn signals. While I was attaching them, the fixture came off of the screw. Still gotta attempt to figure out if I can re-attach, or not. But the manufacture does sell new ones. If you have a truck, make sure you strap it down, so it does not slide around in the bed, or something like the turn signals or the power/speedometer console make break off...the bracket. I have to buy a new one. Lesson learned the hard way. Performance, this so far is fantastic. I have not gotten nit to the top speed yet, still getting use to it. But it does go fast. I plan on testing it on a hill that is on the way to the train station once the weather gets better. ... show more

Wow! I'm 6'2" 270lbs. Was not expecting it to have the torque that is has! Goes up steep hills in San Francisco at about 5-10 mph on max settings. Get a little over 25 mph on flat ground max settings. Does great on grass and dirt trails. Very impressed, definitely exceeded expectations. Note: Max setting will be jerky, need to have slow smooth throttle to avoid the bounce. Replace rubber handles with ones that protect the thumb. I'm getting a blister from my thumb rubbing on the brake level housing. Definitely recommend for city or outdoor exploring. Only negative is it is very heavy, you're not going to just pick it up and walk with it. ... show more

This scooter is insanely stupid crazy fun!!! Plz, be careful. It’s fast. Trust me if I could take a pic at top speed I would, I was able to get this bad boy up to 62mph on asphalt!!! To the review that said it would only go in the 40s…..not true. I haven’t tried to much off road yet but sand seemed to be an issue when I ride thru the canal but that could be due to my inexperience… needless to say, the install was easy (15 mins.) It’s heavy, so if you plan on hauling it be ready. Also, see my pics. It comes with UK style plug so if your American like myself you’ll need to get an adapter to charge.
