I'm using this for mobility, the four wheel medical scooters cost at least triple what this cost, who cares if its purple, it was simple to assemble and had almost a full charge right out of the box, it was warm today so I road it in the street, the seat is terrible but it runs fantastic, I had a jet son bolt with a 350 watt , it was peppy, this is 450, I can tell it is quicker, not really top end but the power comes on faster, and 15 or 16 mph on one of these things is exciting, you need to pay attention, the wheel base is short, this scooter is a fantastic deal, for some reason when I bought it the purple model was considerably less than the other colors!? but I just tell the the neighborhood kids that its the prince edition, hoyte toyte like ,,, ... show more

  • Love it.

As of 11/20/2023 I have 192 miles on my scooter. I wanted to wait awhile before I wrote a review and share my thoughts. As you can see in my photo I am well past 60 years, (ahhh to be 60 again) anyhow it came well packaged, was easy to put together but I did have to adjust the front forks and the rear fender that was a little skewed, after that I charged it to full and went riding. This scooter is great fun to ride and I look cool on it, I've had people in cars make Uturns and chase me down to ask the important questions of, what is it, who makes it, how fast, how far and how much, so lets get down to brass tacks. I'm 220 pounds, I regularly get 20 miles between charges, I can go as fast as 18.5 mph on flat road surfaces and less depending on grade but overall not bad. I live in a city and city streets can be rough, after adjusting the rear springs and in conjuncture with the seat springs street riding is tolerable, after about 8 miles my rear starts to feel it and this winter I plan on getting a new seat. I am very grateful I purchased a scooter with rear springs. This scooter is a joy to ride. I regularly go to the grocery store and fill up my backpack plus a shopping bag that I bungee cord firmly to the basket but as you can see I put my dog in the backpack and go to the dog park, not to mention the tailgate parties before football games. What I find humourous is how many old guys like me bought scooters after watching me ride around on mine. As for going uphill, it could be a challenge, it really depends on how steep it is, I've been able to go, slowly, up long grades but at other times I just walk it up, we have numerous underpasses and those pose no problems, you just slow down a little. What I wish this scooter had, Rear view mirror. A bigger seat. A bigger basket although this one is doable. A walking function that allows the scooter to go about 1 mph as you walk it up a hill. To recap; This scooter is the best thing I've bought in a long time, it's fun to ride, it takes me everywhere, it's easy to lock up with a Ulock and it's light enough to carry up a few steps into my house where it resides in an out of the way spot. 5 stars all the way. Enjoy. ... show more

  • Good for many ages

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my 9yr old daughter to use when we go on longer bike rides and she loves it. It doesn't go too fast and even when she's not using it, I use it to take my dog on runs so far it has been a great scooter for the whole family! Nice and quiet running, and the lights work out perfect at night when you want to be seen by other cars. 200 MILE UPDATE: The nylon tread tires are very flimsy and after 198 miles, the back tire popped because the tread had worn down completely through the tire. I had to make a trip to the bike shop to get replacement tires and tubes. I bought some much more durable treads for $10 each and puncture resistant tubes for $16 each. Unfortunately, none of the tubes that the bike shop was selling had angled inflation stem. Soooooo I actually had to drill through the rear wheel at an angle next to where the original stem hole is located, so that my pump would fit onto the stem so I could inflate the tire. The front tire still has tread on it, so I will be keeping it on the scooter until it fails... but I'm pretty disappointed at the low quality of the treads that come with the scooter. Many other people had commented on it on other reviews, but I wanted to know how long the tires would actually last. That being said, after replacing the back tube/tire, I still love using the scooter to take my dog on runs at night(the lights are nice and bright). And my daughter, who's the primary user of the scooter, still enjoys riding it. Plus, being much lighter than I am, she is able to get up to speed pretty well, and the batter lasts longer when she's on it. Being 36v, it doesn't have the quickest pickup. After opening it up to get the back wheel completely off, it has a pretty hefty sized battery, but I'm hoping that I'll be able to upgrade the battery in the future without much fabrication. Not very water proof, so I would advise against riding through anything deeper than 1/2 inch puddles. ... show more
