  • new update 11/25/23
Purchased this to help with welding aluminum. Great product, however, support from yeswelder has turned into something more than difficult. Purchased a CT2050 a little over a year ago and now they don't support if you need parts. Very disappointed with their service! After posting this review, yeswelder has contacted me about replacement parts. Now things are looking much better. Will see how it works out now. Things are looking up. ... show more

  • Works well for my YESWELDER 200A AC/DC Aluminum Tig Welder
I use the foot pedal for my YESWELDER 200A AC/DC Aluminum Tig Welder. In the description it does not list the foot pedal to be comparable for it, but I got it and it works fine.

  • Pedal itself is great, the cable is junk
The pedal itself is great; solid and sturdy to use, smooth to operate. I was using it, all worked perfect. Not 24 hours old, it stopped working. I moved it closer to the welder to fiddle with settings, and it started working again... moved it back to my bench, and it stopped working. This spoke to a physical connection problem. I pulled the connector on the cable apart, and one of the wires was loose. Not just a dry connection, but loose just from the small use I had. I can fix it fine with a soldering iron, but, the cable is not made well. They used a cable that is too big to make use of the strain relief designed into the connector, and clearly not care or QA in the soldering job. Again, the pedal itself is fine, but it still needs to get reliable signal to the welder and the crappy cable is part of that. ... show more

  • Works great!
I bought the Tooliom 200TP Tig welder from Amazon and this Yeswelder foot pedal... YES... it works with it and activates the amperage fluctuation wonderfully! I recommend this pedal for at least the Tooliom Tig machine.

  • Good enough.
Not the best regulator of current but it will do.

  • Tension relief on connector not terminated properly
Cable not terminated properly. Ain't gonna last too long with the tension being on the wire rather than the sheath. Both ends are wrong. Need a little QA on that line I would say.

  • Pedal might be great but the workmanship on the cable connector needs some work
This pedals cost isn't all that far off from the major brands but the way the cable is made means it's going to fail quickly without rework. When assembling the cable they strip back the cable sheath too far so that the connector backshell's strain relief can't clamp onto the cable. This means all the everyday stress and strain gets taken up by the actual connections on the wires and pins instead of the by the strain relief. One or more of the wires will fatigue and break resulting in the pedal simply not working if you are lucky - or it could short out to another wire and damage your welder. No excuse for shoddy attention to detail - likely done to make soldering the connector easier saving a few minutes of labor and therefore a couple of dollars extra profit ... show more
