We're using this in a 5 gallon bucket for our earthworm casting tea. Fits great at the bottom of the bucket, produces a ton of bubbles. It's rather large but works perfect for our use!

which at this price should definitely be included. This is a very nice air stone that produces. quite a bit of air infusion, so could easily earned 5 stars if they would have included the tubing. Tubing isn't all that expensive, which is all the more reason they should have included it. Nothing is more aggravating than needing to use a product and it arrives without a part it needs to be able to use it. To be fair they do tell you that up front. And because I actually read the description beforehand I was prepared and had the tubing ready and waiting. However, as stated, for the price of the stone it should have been included. Also I'm thinking about a new user who ordered the stone and either missed the part about tubing not being included, or forgot to go out and get some or order some ahead of time. To me little things mean a lot and details matter. Of course the pump isn't included, that makes sense when buying an air stone. But not including the tubing? Big mistake on the sellers part. But getting back to the stone, it is definitely a good stone that does produce enough air to keep your fish happy and healthy. Even without the tubing I would buy another one when needed. However I'd still be aggravated they don't include the tubing if they haven't changed their policy by that time. Maybe if enough people complain about the lack of tubing the seller might decide they should include it.

this is not a bad thing, but it was certainly a lot larger than I originally anticipated. This puts out a significant amount of micro bubbles so I recommend adding a check valve to be able to dial in the amount of air running through the tube. for me, this style of bubble is exactly what I was looking for. I can see this being an excellent stone for aquaponics or hydroponics

This thing is huge! It's made of ceramic, too! Nice and heavy.. I was going to use this in my aquarium, but due to its size, I put this in a small, outdoor pond instead. This does fit US standard 1/4" airline tubing. There is an adapter included if you use larger pumps/line, as well as a check valve, couplers, and a metal adjustable valve.

So i guess i need to connect this to my garage compressor..I connected this to my 18W 396 GPH 6 manifold air pump and nothing came out, it wasn't until i closed every other port i was using that i started to get bubbles. It does have everything you need to get it to work but it should at least mention you need about a 1000 gph air pump for the 4 inch disk.
