I have the Dyson V8 Absolute and v15 Absolute Detect versions of the stick model vacuums. I allowed myself an upgrade to the V15 because 1. I can't get both stories of the building done on one charge 2. Problems I've been having with my vision made the laser on the v15 appealing for an area of my in-house business that has special safety concerns. (And that laser DOES help me a LOT). You'd think with two vacuum cleaners that we'd always have one to use, but if I'm going to the effort to remember how to tear apart one fluffy head and give it a thorough cleaning and de-gunking, I'm just going to do the other at the same time and set up a cleaning and drying area. And while it only takes a day for things to dry out, if often takes several days for me to find the time and patience to put everything back to together again. The idea that I can have a spare fluffy head in reserve for less than $30 is phenomenal. I thought, surely I've misunderstood and this is not going to fit right, or not work, or just be the fluffy spinning thing, but not the whole motorized head. This IS the fluffy spinning thing AND the motorized head and it fits great on both vacuums. It works just as well for as much as I can tell. That dust bin was just as full as it usually was! I just put it through the works, because it arrived on a day when everything was FILTHY and I need the joint cleaned up really well before my next surgery. I can't see the difference in cleaning functionality between the Dyson fluffy heads and this one. The only difference that is standing out to me is that the Dyson V8 fluffy head does not have any lights. This head does, but it is not the same kind of light as on the Dyson V15 Detect fluffy head. These are white LEDs. I thought the Dyson used a laser, but perhaps it's just a "light", but it's yellowish-green and shows so much dust stuck to your floor that the first time I used it I almost shrieked! The white light on this motor head will show you the crumbs and dirt but it will not shock you with every fine hair of dust that isn't normally visible to the naked eye five feet above the floor, like the V15 fluffy head can. So while it's less impressive than the v15 in that regard, that white light is still *extremely* helpful and I see it as an improvement on the Dyson v8 head. I think lights on vacuum heads are a great idea and I may leave the original v8 head as the "spare" so I can enjoy having that light! As a last thought, the V15 revs the motor when it detects more dust and more need for suction. I really don't know how that works, but it must happen up at the canister/engine level, because that functionality appeared to still work just fine, even though I was not using the original Dyson fluffy head. Most of the people I know that love their Dysons REALLY love their Dysons, so I promise I'll report back here if I manage to abuse this thing in a way that creates any surprises, but I think this makes a great spare cleaning head. If you're looking to replace a broken V15 detect head, you'll probably want to go to Dyson so you can have the same type of light that you are used to, but if you just want an inexpensive back up head for when you've torn yours apart for a thorough cleaning, I don't think this will disappoint. If you have an older non-detect model of vacuum, I think you'd be pleased with this even as a replacement head.

We have several models of Dyson vacuum's in the family, so I decided to give this unit a try. I normally use the V15 so my comparison is based on that model. First, the construction seems solid. The wheels give more stability than the original, and I like the swivel system better. Overall all it just feels smoother. It picked up the dust and dirt just like the original. And the sound seems quieter to me as well. The only difference I could find is the light. On the original, the light is on the bottom, very close to the floor, so you get great shadows from the dirt. On this unit the light is elevated, so the angle is greater, which reduces the contrast of the shadows. However, you do see a lot of the dirt, just not as much as the original Dyson attachment. I got the same attachment from another company, and the lights were even higher. (See Image. The other brand is on the left). This made the lights totally useless for dust recognition. So, considering the price is so reasonable on the Aiyituo, I gave this 5 stars.

I can admit I was skeptical of buying this product because I was saying to myself for this price? No way! I decided, hey it wouldn’t hurt to try it out and thank goodness I did! I can definitely say it works just as smooth as the traditional Dyson brush. The lighting is helping me see things I couldn’t see like those pesky long thick hair strands of mine and even small dust particles under my table. It makes about the same noise as a traditional Dyson floor head so no problems there. The value of this item is too low for such product. It’s amazing how I had a dust ball at the end of me cleaning (the picture only shows the beginning). This has bought a new life to my v7 because I wanted to upgrade but with the ease of using this thing the only thing ill miss is having battery life on the new Dyson’s but who cares when you can see everything that can now be picked up. Excellent product you have here :).

The media could not be loaded. Since purchasing my dyson v11, I have been looking to get the hardwood head attachment but simply couldn't justify the price of it. Seeing the low price of this one, and having it come up on vine I decided to give it a shot. I am genuinely impressed. For the price I thought it wouldn't be motorized, but it is and has a fairly strong motor. I was unable to stop it by hand and it spins quite quickly. Its about the same size (width) as the dyson torque head that comes with the vacuum. The red part is soft, and the blue stripes are slightly stiffer bristles. It works seamlessly with my V11 and works quite well. The LED lights are very bright and are easily seen during the day, and help to show where dirt/pet hair is, and also where you have already vacuumed. It seems like this head really gives the name brand version a run for it's money. In my opinion, the only drawback is I wish the bristles were slightly longer or the tube was slightly larger diameter to make better contact with hardwood, but it still does a fantastic job. It certainly can't be beat for the price.

This is the perfect addition to the Dyson vacuum. It’s similar to the stock head that comes with the vacuum but also has a light, plus added suction power. I personally hate that the Dyson doesn’t have a light on it (so much so that I’ve attached mini flashlights to it in the past lol). The light on this—perfectly illuminates the floor, allowing you to effortlessly see all the dust and debris. Beware though, the first time you use it you’re going to realize how dirty your floors are!! Other than that, it’s just like the Dyson one—it attaches perfectly and feels like it’s been manufactured to the same quality level.
