I originally gave this skillet 2 stars, my original review is below… which I wrote after about two frustrating weeks of preparing daily two egg breakfasts for my family. My revised review is this, the skillet is actually much better at lower temperatures than even medium heat. I keep my range at low or low-medium and add the food early - long before the skillet comes to temperature. Doing this, and switching from avocado to coconut oil, I’ve had much better results preparing eggs and other breakfast meals. I’ve tried doing omelettes, but this is not the skillet for that. For that reason I have updated my review to 4 stars and have tried a lot of smaller meals… so long as it’s something that doesn’t need to be seared at high temperature, this skillet does OK. Just keep a lower than normal operating temperature on your range and use trial and error. Coming from a well seasoned aluminum skillet before this one, was… an adjustment… to say the least. My original review: This skillet looks nice which is the only reason it doesn’t get only 1 star. This is, by far, the worst non stick I have ever owned. Even following the instructions to the letter on how to use and maintain it, the non stick stopped working after about a week. Sad to say, this brand is like all the other eco friendly non stick, it is less non stick than a well seasoned aluminum skillet which is what I will be using going forward. ... show more

Second Caraway purchase that arrived with chipped or scratched rim. Still usable; but, if it bothers you look over the rim very carefully. I did not learn the first time. Nice for eggs. Finish is so pretty inside and out. Ridiculous that it does not come with a lid. Only pricey cookware that does not come with a lid…can you imagine if Staub or LeCruset did not come with a lid? ... show more

I have been worried about the mixed reviews so I bought just one pan to test it out before buying the whole set. I am amazed at the nonstick ability and it cleans so easily. I made steaks the first night, fried eggs and pancakes the next morning and fried some prosciutto and made pasta with a cream sauce the next. Every time nothing stuck and the pan wiped clean with a paper towel. The pan does take a little longer to heat up as noted in some reviews. I got the blu to match my navy and white kitchen and to tell the truth, it’s not quite a true navy. There seems to be just a hint of green in it. It’s good enough though that I will buy the rest of the set. ... show more

I've had the 10 1/2" fry pan for about three weeks and have used it most days since then. Mine is the cream color exterior. Some folks have complained about staining. I've cooked eggs, veggie bacon, tomato sauce, fish with lemon, left-overs, and I often use yellow-staining turmeric. I haven't seen any staining, but if were stained, it wouldn't bother me. As far as I'm concerned, it's not an art piece, it's a utensil. Pots and pans in a restaurant kitchen are dented, battered and stained to the point where you'd never know the original color. Regarding cooking, everything slides around like on ball bearings. One time, I had lifted the pan off the burner with my left hand, and with my right hand reached over to the right of me for a spatula, taking my eyes off the pan for a few seconds. Splat! Apparently, I tilted the pan just a bit, and about a quarter of the contents was all over the stove. I've been careful about doing that since then. Undoubtedly, the non-stick properties will wear off over time, but til then, I anticipate being happy with it. I will attempt to modify this review if something happens to change my opinion. ... show more

I love this pan. It is so easy to clean up after any kind of food is cooked in it. The quality is definitely there as you can tell by the way it cooks evenly and food never sticks to it. It was a little more than I am used to spending on cookware but it is worth every penny I paid. The quality is amazing. I recommend it anyone wanting something easy to use and clean. I am looking into getting the Dutch oven now, I liked this one so much. They are also beautiful and I love the colors.. It was hard to decided which color to pick. I I am trying to talk my Sister into a set to match her new kitchen. ... show more

Works well but is only temporarily non-stick. Eventually this ‘feature’ wears off after a few months and mostly everything sticks to the pan. I wanted so much to have found a perfect non-stick pan! Sadly, I must report this isn’t it. Also, ONLY use on low to medium heat or the exterior will show signs of burning that are impossible to fully remove. ... show more

Great pan! Really good non-stick and the color is so fun. I burned something in it and it required a good bit of attention, but it seems to have recovered well from all the scrubbing (NOT with steel wool!!). Not as anti stick as a new Teflon pan but I am hopeful that it will last longer. Have used it for about 2 months on a daily basis. Eggs, at first stuck to the oiled surface a little but now one little spot will stick on occasion but can be broken free easily. The oil beads up and migrates to the edges of the cooking surface. Does not appear to have a lot of steel content as I must turn my induction burner up a little to get my usual heat. This is, I assume, to keep users from overhearing the pan and extend its life.
