  • Decent bench for the price. Well-constructed and very stable.
Color: Black/Gray
At under $200, this is a decent weight bench. Its not gym quality, but its well-constructed of thick steel, and is ideal for home use. The bench comes in about a dozen pieces and parts, and requires assembly. The assembly instructions provide no written instruction, only illustrations. A hex tool is included to tighten the bolts, but you also will need an adjustable wrench or socket set (not included). Assembly was fairly easy and was completed in about an hour. All of the holes aligned perfectly. I assembled the bench with hand-tight bolts, and then went back and tightened the bolts with tools. The assembled bench is very sturdy, but you have to tighten the bolts down completely to prevent movement. The back and seat pads are firm but comfortable. I agree with others that the gap between the seat and back pad can be uncomfortable, especially while in the decline position. When the back pad is in the full 90-degree upright position, the gap disappears, so I don't think the gap between the seat and back pad is too large. The leg extension is easily removed. The retaining pin for the leg extension is tethered to the bench, making it difficult to lose or misplace. To prevent tripping on the front leg with heavy weights in hand, I installed the leg facing in rather than out, which is the opposite of what's shown in the illustration. The bench is still rock solid and stable. I wish the bench had a 1 or 2 more stops to give more angle options for the back pad and the seat, but I am otherwise satisfied with this bench. ... show more

  • Decent weightbench for the price
Color: Black/Gray
I have been using this bench for a couple weeks now and this is what I have noticed so far: Pros: -It will easily support me (165lbs) plus 245lbs for flat bench press. I have only tried 185lbs for incline, and I had no issues. -It looks nice. The solid black matches most other gym equipment. -It is the same height from the ground as commercial quality benches. My feet sit firmly on the ground when bench pressing (I'm 5'11") Cons: -This is not a commercial quality bench. It is very lightweight compared to benches at my old gym, and the design is not as study. -It can wobble side to side if you rock back and forth. Thankfully this has not happened yet to me while benching. It wobbles because the screw hole on the front leg was not a very precise fit. I had issue with 3 or 4 screws fitting exactly perfect. -The cushion is too soft and it uses lower quality fabric. The leather-like fabric wrinkles up significantly when doing crunches, and I do not believe the fabric will last very long. -The feet of the bench are poorly placed. My feet naturally want to rest directly on top of the bench's feet when doing bench press. -Their is a large 2.5" gap between the two top cushions, and my butt rest directly in the gap for most exercises. Overall, this is a solid bench that will likely hold 500lbs+. It will be hard finding a stronger bench for the price. However, I cannot recommend purchasing this bench as I have noticed several issues in the design. ... show more

  • Decent intermediate bench.
Color: Black
To start of with the positives, it is very stable in the flat and incline positions, if tightened correctly. The padding is soft but not to the point that you feel like you're sinking with heavy use. It has wheels but is light enough to pick up yourself if needed. Adjusting the incline is also much faster than pin selected benches. For the cons, there is a little up and down movement in the seat on the decline setting, so sit ups arent ideal. The bench feels an inch or two higher than most but that might just be me. And the weight capacity is way off. Its advertised at 1000 pounds but the manual only states 500 pounds So I would recommend this as a bench for users as long as you dont plan on benching more than 315 which most people wont anyway, and I'll recommend it if it's not used as a primary sit up tool. If you have a heavy flat bench but want an adjustable as well for accessory lifts that has a decent capacity, then this a great buy. ... show more

  • Somewhat of a hassle build.
Color: Black
This weight bench seems very good and well made once you get through the initial build. First when building the bench it was kind of hard to keep all the pieces in place to just screw the nuts. Second the locknuts they give you, YOU CANNOT SCREW ENTIRELY ON YOUR OWN, You will need a set of pliers or a wrench so you can hold the nut in place and tighten. Third in the description it says weight capacity 1,000lb. NOT TRUE in the manual it says 500lb. I ultimately bought it because it could hold so much weight, it’s not that big of a problem but there were other good bench’s for cheaper. Fourth the directions to building it were not so much user friendly, I ultimately sectioned off pieces of the direction and took it slowly. WITH ALL OF THAT BEING SAID I would say the bench feels great and only giving four stars because of what you have to do to build it. ... show more

  • Favorite Weight Bench!
Color: Black
Once put together this bench is great. It is much lighter than my other bench and extremely maneuverable. I turned my sunroom into a weight room so I needed a sturdy bench that I could easily roll from within my squat rack to my power rack with cable attachments and vice versa. Putting this bench together is a fantastic test of a person's patience, but this bench is well worth persevering through the assembly frustration. ... show more

  • Excellent bench for the price.
Color: Black
Excellent bench for the price. I can feel that the center beam should be wider or thicker type of metal bit other than that it's great.

  • Best buy for the money
Color: Black/Gray
This is a great bench, and is everything they promised. Easy to assemble, works great. Is very comfortable when lifting heavy. Easy to move, and looks good too. I recommend this to anyone looking for good home workout equipment.

  • No flex zone!
Color: Black/Gray
I was 250+ lbs when I got this using 100lb dumbbells. That's over 450lbs. Everytime I use it that rap song plays in my head "no flex zone" (worst song ever btw). So if you don't like that song, like to not worry about your bench crushing under your overweight a$$ AND you don't want to spend $400 on a similar-weight-rated bench, buy this one here! It really is a nice piece of equipment and seems like it will last a long time. ... show more
