I picked this mixer up to help with weekend baking experiments at home. The digital timer is surprisingly useful, because I tend to get distracted doing other prep steps. Now I can trust the mixer to run for the exact time I need while I clean or measure something else. The different attachments really change what I can make. I went from blending soft dough to whipping a lighter cream mix without trouble. It stays put on the counter thanks to the bottom grips, so I never feel like I have to hold it in place.
