I purchased this small table to use on the cloth arm of my loveseat and the leather arm chair. This table fit well and very securely on the arms of the furniture on the cloth and the leather, no slippage. The brown shade is represented well in the photo and it works well with my furnishings. I was able to fit my iPhone, two tv remotes, a coaster to hold a beverage easily. All my furniture has the reclining feature and the table stayed in place on the arm of the furniture with no slippage. I will be purchasing a 2nd table. If the user is a senior or has a hand mobility and strength issue, I would suggest having a friend or family member open the two clamps on the back of the table to put on the furniture arm, as the the springs used maybe a bit too strong to open easily. No problems with shipping and delivery. Was doubtful it would work as my couch arm is wider and didn't have faith anything would stay. There is ant-slip under and heavy hinges so it holds well and is suitable for small drinks. I would not keep tall or heavy drinks but a cup of coffee, whiskey, or small water (or whatever). I have a leather couch wide very wide arms. I put arm table clip on it and I have been so satisfied. It holds a coffee cup, magazine, remotes, electronics or whatever I put on it without tipping or sliding off. I have an active eight-year-old in the house and she hasn’t knocked it off with accidental bumps. I also have gotten compliments from visitors who spot it.
