I did buy upgrades from Mr.Mixer to make it perfect. It was well worth the money. I did have an issue with the paddles jumping up and down while mixing so I got an upgrade to fix that. Hubby splurged and spoiled me for Christmas. I could pick out the color I wanted, which was pistachio green. I had an older, vintage-looking KitchenAid years ago that I had to leave behind when we moved across the country twenty-one years ago, and I'm not gonna lie, I missed it. I haven't made a ton of things with this so, can't speak for how well it makes some things but I do now that it has worked well for the stuff I've needing mixing for. I'm also amazed at how many attachments exist for this things allowing such a variety of items to be made. Hopefully this one lasts as long for me as my nana's lasted for her too! Side note, if you don't have the ice-cream attachment get it!! I made homemade ice-cream with this and it was so easy and so good! ... show more
