I only wish I knew about this product years ago. My washing machine has a leak somewhere, but not noticeable until I moved it away from the wall. I never noticed runoff, but with this tray, any leaks or drips that it does have will dry in the pan and not damage further damage the floor. Finally got around to ordering this drain tray under my washer. Had to have some repairs done and when we moved the washer, decided it would be a good idea to place the drain under the washer, on top of our wood floor. This is a preventive measure, to keep water from closing the wood floors of the washer leaks. If it’s needed it drains outdoors. I hope it never has to work as it was meant to.
