I am in love with these pots and pans. They are super easy to clean! Since they are nonstick pans, after I use them, I let them cool down before cleaning them. Then I put a slight amount of blue dawn in them and warm water and clean them with a soft cloth. You cannot scrub these pots and pans or you will scrub off the nonstick coating. They clean off very easily though and I have not had any issues. These pans also heat up very evenly. With my old pans, I had issues with the food taking longer to cook, I believe because they were heating unevenly. I love the nonstick coating! It is so much easier to cook food. I just add a little butter or margarine to the pan after it heats a bit and swish it around in the pan. My food cooks very quickly and I don’t have any issues like I did with my old pans with food sticking. It is definitely worth the money and I am so glad I purchased these! I would definitely recommend these to a friend, family member or complete stranger! ... show more

I have been wanting a new cookware set for a while now. I have a glass flattop stove and my old pots and pans had rounded bottoms that did not work well with my stove. We bought a set similar to this for a wedding present and they have been very pleased with the set so I decided to get a set for our use. I love my new Calphalon Cookware! I read many reviews before purchasing this set. My set arrived before expected and in great shape (packaged well). All the pans look and feel amazing! I waited just a little while before posting my review just so that I could cook with them and get a real "feel" for them. I am very pleased! I love having the drain holes in the lids as well as the lip on the pans to drain with - great idea! I read the directions 1st - the pans heat up very nicely - starting out on Med High. Only use butter or oil (if needed) and let cool before cleaning and you will not be disappointed! I threw out all my old pots and pans. I would definitely recommend this set ... show more

THESE ARE NOT DISHWASHER SAFE. They are stamped as such on the bottoms. Some of the outer coatings of these pots/pans are different colors. Some wash up, looking like a dry light grey. Others wash up with the same deep grey color. It's like there's a bad run on coating... and I'm the dumb lucky one who got them. They cook great, but their appearance is terrible. The set I bought from CostCo is much superior to the set I received here on Amazon. It appears that I had received a batch of bad quality items. Not happy. ... show more

I was expecting to be wowed. Bought in July 2020 and did not use the set very often and I refused the other occupants of the house use them, it is only me. I used the stock pot a few times and noticed scratches and the coating coming up. So by November (only 4 months) I submitted a warranty claim to Calphalon. I have sent the piece back, at my expense, per their instructions, so that is an additional $40 I'll never see. So much for standing by products. I am not sure they have excepted the return for a replacement piece or if they will return mine with the scratches yet. I have not heard from them either way. ... show more
