My beloved original 25 year old Classic 12” skillet came with a lid so I took a chance on this one, hoping the original lid would fit. It did! Perfectly! The handle is not quite as long as my original and this skillet is slightly lighter but I actually like it better. It’s still heavy, but for me the old one was a bit too heavy. I bought these to add to my collection from Costco. They are lighter than that collection. They look similar and are easy to clean. They cook my food evenly and so far are scratch resistant. I only use wooden tools or silicone.
