Unlike other non-stick pots and pans which limit stove heat to medium-low, you can use the higher heat. They are solid and seem like normal pans, they retain heat very well, and they are truly non-stick. I often cook chicken or salmon without oil, and the clean up is very easy. No matter what I cook, the clean up is easy. I don't use the dishwasher. I use a sponge and soap and water for quick clean up. . . . However, I wouldn't pay the list price of $480. Wait for them to be on sale. You won't regret it. . . . Also, pots and pans are oven safe to 450⁰, as listed in description, and lids are safe to 400⁰, which is not listed in description. ... show more

I've never tried this brand but heard great reviews about it. Love the set, nice heavy sturdy quality! Nothing sticks to it, and heats up evenly. Couple scratches on the bottom of one of the pans but nothing to worry about.

These pans are......AMAZING!! The variety I got are all pots and pans I use frequently. Love having the glass lids so I can see my food inside without having to take the lid off. They do take a little longer to warm up and for the food to begin cooking, but this is because the material they're made of takes that heat and evenly distributes it throughout the pan and then retain steady temperature cooking your food just right. The non-stick surface is so nice to have and unlike any other "non-stick" coated pan I've ever used. I made homemade chili 2 days a go and then we had it for dinners 2 nights in a row. After dinner the first night I just waited for the chili to cool, put the lid on the pot and just put it on the top rack in the fridge so that it'd be quick to grab and throw right back on the stove to warm for dinner that following night. By the end of night 2, all the chili was gone but there was a pretty thick layer of food goop all along the inside of the pan. Imagine my surprise when all it took was hot water from the hand sprayer from the sink to remove every single little bit of that goop. I didn't even have to use soap! I was so shocked I grabbed the sponge and a squirt of soap and bubbled it all up anyway and gave it a little swish swash anyway. Why did I not buy these sooner?!?! ... show more

Loved this cookware set when I got it, but at 6 months out, I am questioning the claim that it is "metal-utensil safe, with a durable, 3-layer, hard-anodized aluminum interior." I never cut in it and try to use wood and plastic utensils, but have occasionally stirred things in the pan with a metal spoon or picked things out or flipped things over with a metal fork. I am the only one using them. (both skillets in the set are showing this poor quality) I just don't think they are going to hold up long based on what I am seeing already. ... show more

This set is horrible. I had a regular Calphalon set that I used for 10 years. I decided to upgrade to this hard anodized set since they were supposed to be even better and more durable. Well not the case. Within 6 months the bottom of the pans started peeling off. I included a picture to show the bottom, and this happened on 2 of the 4 pans. I wash them all by hand too, and take good care of them. I'm really dissapointed that I paid that much money for such poor quality. I wish I had just kept my old set! Very irritating, dissapointing, and a waste of money for a product I thought was going to be spectacular. ... show more
