I'm not using these lights for Christmas decorations. I actually purchased them to keep my tender plants warmer during cold desert evenings. The first night I blew a fuse because I attached more than two lights. I couldn't find the extra fuse provided. I called customer service (a person answered right away) and she guided me to the location. In plug in case. FYI-it's next to needed fuse. Customer service assured me if I needed more they would supply and reiterated the lights come with a 1 year warranty. I had to post this review for the awesome customer service. I purchased these to prevent my plants from freezing when the temperature went below 32 degrees. I had these lights wrapped around my palm and citrus trees, and covered them with sheets. There was no damage from the freeze and the lights did not get too hot and burn anything.

My strand came with two broken bulbs out of the box. It does come with exactly two replacement bulbs, so now I am left without any extras. The quality of the strand is good and the light they give off is exactly what I was looking for. The strand is much closer to 23ft than 25 - it may not be an issue for some, but if you're trying to be precise, plan on it being 25ft in length. ... show more

    • Worked, and surprisingly well packaged.
The bulbs all worked, and were 7 watts each (measured) with a very soft warm yellow color. I use these to keep my citrus warm when it gets cold outside, so I needed bulbs that actually get warm, and that power and brightness ensures most of the energy comes out as heat. The surprise is how well packaged they were, and easy to store back in the original durable foam.
