  • Satisfied customer good value for the price
Set name: 21"-170cc
Great mower. I'm getting a little older so I needed to replace my existing push power mower with a self-propelled model. Assembly was very simple as it just needed the handle to be unfolded and secured. Added oil and gas, primed it three times per instructions and pulled the starter cord three times. After that, one pull is all it took. It started right up and I put it to work in a yard that needed mowing a week ago. It was so easy and quick that I was a little disappointed that it was done. I'm actually looking forward to mowing again next week. ... show more

  • Finally enough power to cut my yard.
Set name: 21"-170cc
Finally I was able to cut my grass in one afternoon. I have very thick grass and foliage in the backyard and this was able to do it with minimal shutting off. About 90% assembled woth giving you the options of mulch, bag or side discharge.

  • Don't buy
Set name: 22"-201cc
This seemed like a great lawnmower at a decent price after I got it. However, it has always been a little difficult to start. Especially for someone with a little less strength, I.e. wife. I am extremely disappointed that within 5 weeks it has actually started falling apart. Bolts are loosening and falling out. Had to buy new ones, install them and re-tighten many loose ones. Of course using titebond, which apparently the manufacturer thought wasn't necessary. For those reasons I wouldn't buy again and would advise others to avoid. You shouldn't have to be a mechanic to keep your new lawn mower together. ... show more

  • I am happy with my purchase
Set name: 22"-201cc
Works great. No problem cutting my lot and a half of grass. The RPM may need to be set down a bit. The gas tank seems to be larger than my previous self-propelled mower and I go through fuel faster. But hardly any clippings stick under the deck after finishing mowing. The mower starts well first thing but cutting the engine while mowing to move a downspout makes the engine hard to start again. The handle that raises and lowers the deck is for all wheels at once on the right instead of on every wheel. That makes it easier to mow along a chain-link fence on the left because there are no handles to get caught in the fence on the left. I use the mulching mode so far. I am on the 4th time cutting my lawn with this mower as I write this. ... show more

  • Great mower, but height adjustments are lacking
Set name: 22"-201cc
I probably should give this mower 5 stars, but I can’t. There are some very wonderful things that I have to say about this mower, but I have two issues to complain about. One issue is important. The other is probably nitpicking on my account. First of all, I noticed that the reviews of all SENIX models are lumped into the same review thread on Amazon. From the reviews that I have read, each model is obviously very different. I bought the 22-inch cut, 201cc model. Let me start with the good stuff. This mower kicks butt! It has lots of power! My lawn was overgrown before my mower arrived (12 inches thick in some spots) and this mower cut through my lawn like butter. It started on the first pull - and it was an effortless pull (once again, like butter). The bagger receptacle is the perfect size and shape to fit the opening in a recycling bag, so dumping is a breeze. Because my lawn was so thick, had to stop the mower many times to empty the bag, but it always started back up effortlessly on the first pull (and this was in 92-degree weather). So, yeah, it is a great mower, but here are my gripes. The height adjustments for the cut are WAY TOO LOW! I mowed my lawn the first time on the tallest cut setting and it still cut it so short that it looked like I was mowing a golf course fairway. I dropped it one setting (of the possible 6 settings) and it looked like I was mowing a putting green. The lower four settings must be for roto tilling your lawn. I am afraid to test them. I do not want to tear up my lawn. Here’s my other complaint. This is the nitpicking thingy. SENIX went to the trouble of coming up with a really cool undercarriage wash with a quick-connect garden hose nozzle that rests on top of the cutting housing to make washing the blade and housing super simple. Here’s the annoying part- they didn’t include the other half of the connection, and the male nozzle on the mower is smaller than a standard 3/4” hose female connector. I wasted a lot of time and $ finding a connection that actually fit this thing, when SENIX could have spent 99 cents at production level and thrown in the hose adapter for this $500.00 mower! …see, I told you it was nitpicking, but for pete’s sake, SENIX, you come up with a great idea, but you just can’t “stick the dismount.” Once again, the mower itself is powerful and easy to start. I would recommend this 201cc model for anyone that always likes to give their lawn a crew cut, but you will not be able to cut it any taller than that. I usually like my lawn to have a little taller cut. ... show more

  • Overgrown Grass? No Problem! 🌱✅
Set name: 21"-170cc
Honestly, this mower did way better than I expected. My grass was pretty overgrown and I thought it might struggle, but it handled it like nothing. It cut through thick grass super easily and didn’t get bogged down at all. The lawn came out looking really clean and even, and it’s really easy to use. It’s also super easy to maneuver, especially with the self-propelled feature, it makes pushing it around way less work and a lot faster. Overall, I’m really happy with it. It did an amazing job and made the whole process quick and simple. Definitely recommend if your yard gets a little out of control like mine 😅 ... show more

  • Good mower. Good price. Easy start.
Set name: 20"-144cc w/5 cutting height
Showed up quickly and I was cutting the lawn with it 15 minutes after opening the box. Someone who didn't read the instructions could have done it in 5 minutes. It cut smooth and even, managed about 1/2 an acre on one tank of gas, and was able to cut an over grown backyard with grass as high as 18 inches. I cut a solid acre in an afternoon, only limited by my own stamina. My riding mower is on the fritz and I needed something cheap to fill the gap. I ordered on Monday, had by Wednesday, unboxed and mowed on Saturday. If you wanted a bottom of the line side discharge, this is a good one. No complaints. I think it will serve me for years as small space and back up, or even the acre. ... show more

  • Needs fixing before using
Set name: 21"-170cc
Couldn't be used out of the box even if I had gas and oil ready because I had to do some repairs on it to straighten a couple of bent parts. The height adjustment lever for the rear tires is twisted and removing the tire and the screws for that lever is aggravating because of the tight spot between the wheel and its housing. I actually had to use a plastic weld to remove a part of the plastic housing so that I could remove the bolt and nut. The screw at the base of the handle is also bent. All these could have probably been prevented with some cushion which the box had very little of. Once I got those bent part fixed, starting the engine was a breeze. It was a real quick start. It's also not meant for unleveled ground like if you just moved into a new construction house with a month old sod. I find that half of the time, it's just working like a push mower. The self-propelled part is just not there. ... show more
