Popped this bad boy into my 2009 MacBook Pro 13” A1278 I went from 2GB of ram to 5GB overnight and it’s a night and day difference. I can now run a virtual machine on Snow leopard with minimum lag. Before I upgraded I was stuck on 10.5 Leopard because it used less ram than 10.6 snow leopard and with 2GB, it was insufficient for snow leopard. Everything runs great and the machine might as well be new. I plan on buying another 4GB stick and maxing out the machine with 8GB total. These are fast and cheap, which is all I can ask for.

I went for the one they sell on crucial initially, following the advice of the "geniuses" at Apple, and naturally they didn't work, twice, so I went for these and they work great!, doubled my 2010 macbook pro processing power in less then 15 min, dont waste your time with crucial, go fro these instead

Came as ordered. I am not a tech repair / computer installation person. This was truly easy to install (read instructions on the Apple website, and followed the directions!). Computer booted back up and ran perfectly well. I would certainly use this site and this company again.

At first I was hesitant to buy RAM for my 2010 Macbook Pro due to compatibility concerns. However this RAM module from A-Tech was cheap enough for me to take a gamble and upgrade my RAM. I'm glad to say that this RAM module works perfectly with my MBP and I have been using my improved MBP for a month now without any issues whatsoever. At $22 for 4GB, don't even think twice about buying this. One of the best buys on Amazon for me.
