Everything worked as said in the description. I plugged up an xbox and monitor to it and it could either be the car battery or the product, but if i opened large games such as skyrim or red dead 2, it would comepletely shut off. This is most likely since it exceeded the wattage useage. Otherwise this will work just fine! ... show more

I bought this because we get alot of hurricanes and lose power alot. I used it the other day in my car to test it finally and it works very well. I bought it originally for using a crockpot, but make sure car is on and the wattage is correct so you don't burn your car down. It charged my phone great and a straightener or hair dryer will work as well. No matter what, this thing comes in handy and it has USB ports too. This inverter is awesome! As you can see by the photo I am using it to full capacity. Including the 12-volt outlet. It's quiet and does not heat up. Last week my 12-volt car outlet quit on me just at the time I needed it. The 12-volt outlet on the inverter saved the day. So far no problems at all. Probably will buy a second one has a backup.     • Please pull this item !! Buyer Beware!
This item is terrible. I charged my Mac book pro, and my Note 8 on it. It destroyed the battery and motherboard on my note 8 to where it would no longer charge and phone died. It also destroyed the battery on my Mac book pro, it no longer will start up with out it being jump started with a wall charger. The battery is dead, I have not had the motherboard checked yet. In addition, my Prius main battery stopped charging as well. It will no longer charge. I just bought the car six months ago. I had to pay $1200 for a used battery on the evening before Thanksgiving. I had to cancel my car trip to Mexico. It destroyed my Note 8 battery and motherboard It destroyed my Mac Book pro battery. It destroyed my 2014 Prius 4 battery . All three items stopped taking a charge and it killed all three batteries. In addition, i have left this company over 5 voice messages. And, not once did they have the common courtesy to call back. Given, this isn’t the largest option they offer. And for me personally as a Pest Control Technician who charges 12v to 40v batteries on a daily basis. This product is absolutely perfect. If there’s a way to get a pallet of these sent to my Branch’s office for my other fellow technicians it would make their days much better! They’re extremely quiet even with every plug taken, it doesn’t stay on high fan much either which is nice. I barely notice it’s there and it sits in my passenger seat up against my console. We bought this for driving from Arizona to Ohio with our two kids. We were able to keep phone/devices charged and power my sons video player. We made sure to unplug it when we weren’t using it. It worked amazingly! Worth every penny!!
