Works well, recognized all disks quickly works without stalling or stuttering even with 2 harddrives plugged in, good interface and remote, easy to use for children. Has lasted many months of constant use and reasonably priced.

On paper, I like the features, but as soon as I unboxed, the unit was plagued with either not being seen by my HDMI port (using the included cable) on my new TV or freezing (happens with and without any media plugged in). The UI was written in semi-poor Chinglish and a couple of the menus didn't make sense, most specifically, the mouse icon. The UI graphics looked 90's era in looks of resolution/font, which is surprising since it claims it can output 4k...I expected a more beautiful user experience. The remote, while responsive, felt cheaply made and feel that one hard press of the button could break it. Good attempt, but falls short to being useful or reliable.

I will update this review with more info later, as I fully explore this device. So far, it is working fine I am using it, attached to a TV mounted at the front of my store, to display still images and show video clips or my products and how they are made. It appears to support all common audio files, as well as all common image files and most video files. This TV had previously only been able to do a fixed slideshow of still images from a usb stick. Now it can show or play anything, and has a very functional remote control.

It is not able to play image file and then video file in a row. That is very inconvenient. Probably, there is a bug, because during slideshow of photos, it unexpectedly returns to home page not completing a slideshow. There is no option to select type of slideshow - so it plays photos over and over again... It does not show video file info - resolution, codec. There is no speed up video playing, like x2, x3, ... It is disappointing. When you press 'forward' key, it moves very fast, so there is no possibility to jump 5, 10, 15 or 30 seconds. That is very inconvenient. Yes, it plays a lot of video formats, that's good.

I've got 2 of these running now. If your wanting a cheap subscription free way to do digital signage this is it. I make my digital signs as videos in Canva and put the video file on a flash drive. Just plug it into this box and it will run it on a loop automatically. Simple, Effective, Affordable.
