Guests were nicely complaining the mattress was sinking down into the frame in some places. I unfolded the very well made, faux leather covered bunky boards and they fit perfectly as I measured before ordering. Perfect solution!

I purchased a king-sized Sleep Number C2 mattress. Sleep Number says that the mattress will not be warrantied if is on the floor or if the base on which it rests isn't solid. Sleep Number's base was $550, and their frame was $300. I resisted $850 on top of (or underneath, ha!) a $1619 mattress. I thought "What makes the Sleep Number base so solid?" In the store I stuck my hand between the mattress and the base to find that the base is just a stick-built box; it didn't even have a solid top. I figured I'd save some money. I bought a steel bed frame and this bunkie board from Amazon. I'm impressed with this bunkie board! It's solid, wrapped in some lovely fabric, folds into a compact shape if you want to use it for something temporary like a pull-out sofa bed, and doesn't have an obnoxious smell. It fit on my king size frame quite well and supports my Sleep Number mattress as solidly as the Sleep Number base. Note: If you have a king size bed, there are two boards. They fit ACROSS the bed frame from left to right, not from top to bottom.

Seems very sturdy. I just wish it was 1/4 inch wider on each side, as it doesn't quite support the mattress sides. Offering a one inch thick option would also be great. I like it quite a bit, it works well.

I purchased a new bed from Amazon and it’s nice and high and I love it, but my back was killing me. I bought this spunky board and let me tell you, it is a huge difference. I have spinal arthritis and a slipped disc so this is a no-brainer. This is a necessity and don’t think twice just get it.

I purchased this bunkie board queen size. The board is solid, but the outside covering is slippery.The boards were folded up together making it easy to unfold. Surrounded together by the covering. And apply to the top of my bed frame. My mattress slips around a bit on it, therefore making it needed to be adjusted. The board supports my memory foam mattress very well. Relieving my mattress from dipping into the metal frame on which it sits. This was the primary purpose for purchasing this bunkie board.

Does NOT work on “all twin size sleep systems” as stated in product description. You need a bed frame with slats every couple inches so that it doesn’t sag and then fall through. We will have to add several slats to make it work or have to deal with “special handling” to return it even though it folds up and is super easy to carry. Yet another huge disappointment from Amazon
