I originally got this to groom my long haired cat. However, my boxer has been in my backseat for months without a seat protector (I know, I ordered one recently). I have an expensive shark vacuum that would NOT get the hair up out of my clothes seats. But THIS!? Amazing. So disappointed, the blades are not cutting through my dog's hair. I'm not sure how this can be fixed. If this is not meant for curly hair it should be stated in the description. I never knew I actually needed this until using it. I ordered this but didn’t use it right away. My Aussihole (Australian Shepherd) was shedding heavily and I finally tried this out. Three full canisters later, and she looked so small. It is a bit loud so unless your dogs are used to loud noises, they will try to run. Works well and arrived exactly as expected. The main cutter works very well. The mini cutter is ok. It works great if your dog has very fine soft hair, not so great if anything thicker. The dremmel that came with mine does not work at all, which is super disappointing as it was one of the reasons I went with this one specifically. Would be willing to up review if replacement pieces were sent. Holds a ton of hair as I have 2 long haired chihuahuas that get cut down quite short for the summer months and both of their first haircuts for the summer were able to be sucked into the holder without any emptying and with a pretty minimal amount of hair being left behind.
