Liked the look when I ordered it but even better up close. Lots of small details that I enjoy. Perfect size for an end table. Have had many compliments from guests. Everyone seems to notice it as soon as they enter the room. Very easy to set up.

Wanted a nice mantle clock and waited until this one went on sale. It is beautifully crafted and looks perfect on the mantle above the fireplace. Nothing cheap looking about it.

    • Nice looking, quiet and suits an old-timer.
I bought this clock to replace a Linden Anniversary clock that was also quartz battery movement. The clock looks similar to my old Linden which had a glass dome. The old clock lasted 10 years and was a gift (cheap) from one of my employers. This one is plastic just like the old one, but the case looks far better than the glass dome. The ornamental balls on the old one stopped working due to a design flaw where as this one has a separate battery operated mechanism and have seen online replacement parts are available should it need repair at a reasonable price. It makes a nice replacement and hopefully outlast the old Linden. ... show more

It's a pretty little clock. A bit shorter than I expected but the size fits just fine where I want it. When I first unpacked it and put the clock battery in it I was disappointed that the pendulum didn't spin. I was also disappointed that the interior parts are plastic. I was reading the other reviews and was surprised no one else mentioned a problem with the pendulum and then I read a review that mentioned that the pendulum has a motor and sure enough I looked under the bottom and their was a place for it. I'm glad it works and looks so good. I'm surprised about Bulova making something made with cheapy plastic inside for the price of $157. Hope it lasts awhile. ... show more

To be honest, the clock arrived in perfect shape but the pendulum would not work. I contacted the seller who was very nice and helpful and I was able to get it to work for a while. The pendulum stopped working again a few weeks later. I will not pursue it further because it is a very nice looking clock and keeps perfect time. I am always aware that buying anything used means that it might not perform perfectly but this certainly is not the fault of the seller. I would rate the clock 4 stars and the Seller 5 stars. The pendulum is really an esthetic effect and has nothing to do with the clock function. ... show more
